By the way, "Stalingrad" is a joint project (Czech Republic, Germany, Russia) that tells the story of a group of German sappers who found themselves near Stalingrad, an attempt to look at this war from the opposite side of the front. It's a rather old film, from the early 90s, with no computer special effects, pompous speeches, or clichés ("we are good - they are bad"). I especially remember how they were transferred from sunny Italy (wine, sea, sun, women) to Stalingrad (ruins, piles of dead, wounded, and demoralized German soldiers still approaching the front line: "But we haven't even reached the front yet..."), the episode with the ceasefire, when both sides began searching for their own, and probably the ending of the film, the evacuation ("How is your whole body burned? You say you were burning in a tank? You set yourself on fire to get to the hospital! Go to the trenches, deserter!"). In general, if you're interested, you can watch it.
