Does anyone know when the movie "Dear Eleanor" will be released?

I just noticed something in "Bridge to Terabithia," and I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned it on the forum:
Remember her essay at the beginning of the movie:
"I carefully enter this wild and beautiful, unexplored underwater world. I swim in silence...only my breath disturbs this stillness. There is nothing above me but the shimmering light. The place from which I came, and to which I will return when I am finished here........

It's almost as if she's writing about this movie and not about diving...

Yeah, but it doesn't say anything about the underwater rocks:). And actually, maybe it wasn't intended to have deep symbolism (at least in the movie;), just a simple, pure children's fantasy, the essence of Leslie:). And the picture is awesome:smile02:

P.S., Dear El - it's not yet known for sure, as filming hasn't started yet... they are scheduled to finish in September 2009;). And I think it will be something amazing, in the spirit of HDWT). And VG is just a warm-up before the big game:D

I just watched this movie (yes, I'm a bit late to the party).
I watched the first half with a smile on my face, but after that, I felt a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.
The movie is very good and interesting; it even made me want to become their friend, or maybe have a friend like them... that would be just wonderful.
But the ending of the movie (the very end) is where things seem to be getting better, and Jess is smiling again, but nothing and no one can replace Leslie for him, nothing can fill the void that was created after her death... nothing and never. He will have to return to his old life, go to that school, live with his family, as he did before he met Leslie (although Terabithia will remain, and everything else, but it will only be a small consolation, in my opinion). And that's the saddest part! Just thinking about it brings back that pain, those feelings, and all the experiences are relived...

By the way, I thought they would show the moment of death (I don't know why), and that's why I watched most of the movie with some anxiety. Every jump across the stream, every race, and every incident (like a tree falling) was accompanied by a wave of fear and fright...
And when the father announced the news, it was a bit unexpected for me.

Also, at first, I thought that all these fantasies were a way to escape from problems and reality, but then I realized that it was more of a way to help solve problems, as in the case with the troll, and of course, it's good for the soul.
I sometimes imagine our world as a fantasy or some kind of game, and sometimes it helps...

Well, the movie is really good... Unfortunately, I stopped at the part where Leslie died (or rather, at her funeral)... and then my viewing was interrupted...(( And now, I will never watch this movie again, because I probably just won't be able to... :smile05:((
