odnopozov dmitriy, if the difficulty level is lower than the hero's, clear the entire map, upgrade Markel, build castles, gather a huge army, and defeat Godric. Knight units should be transformed into undead. Peasants should be the last to be converted. A Phoenix isn't even needed here. Godric has only 1 castle, while you have 2 castles + external dwellings + joining units. Therefore, your army will grow much faster than Godric's.

A Phoenix is needed to defeat Godric on the hero's turn in the first week.

In treasure rooms, pyramids, and utopias, the set of spells changes every 4 weeks. Therefore, you can always obtain any spells of level 4 or higher if they are not available in the castles. All you need is patience and a developed school of magic.

Hello everyone! I've only recently started playing this game. I'm stuck on a mission for the Inferno faction. It's called "The Ship." I've captured the Inferno castle, built up an army, learned spells, and defeated the dragons, but as soon as I leave the castle, it gets recaptured, not giving me a chance to build up an army, so I have to go to Alaron, but his army is bigger, and I lose... Please advise, what should I do? Maybe attack the Elves?

Can elves be attacked?

I don't understand the phrase; of course, you need to attack the elves there; there are three castles besides Alaron's, if I remember correctly. Crush all the elves and then cut down Alaron.
The first time I played, I had 80 Cave Lords left in my army, and in the middle of the battle, 0 dragons flew out of Alaron's castle. One strike from the Cave Lords, and the dragons followed my army. That was the turning point. After that, Alaron hanged himself on his own scythe. :)
Of course, the last part was unnecessary; just some memories came flooding back.

To avoid replaying the entire mission, you can try the following:

Position all your troops in one spot, summon demons from the portal NEXT to your troops, and attack the archers (using succubi, ballista, and spells from your hero).

The AI usually gets incredibly slow at this point, instead of sending its dragons to destroy your army, it waits until (presumably) the ranged towers are destroyed or the archers run out of ammunition.

This tactic allows you to win what seems like a completely hopeless battle.
