I recently watched "The Duchess." Hmm... It's an acquired taste. Mothers will especially enjoy it.

I recently watched "Meet Joe Black" from beginning to end. It's an interesting film, especially with its original plot. I watched it and didn't regret it.

I just finished watching "I Am Legend" with Will Smith. (Yeah, I couldn't sleep). It's a good movie. I liked it. There's almost no humor in it, nothing to laugh about. But the movie itself is interesting.

Regarding "The Duchess" - perhaps the lord is right. I didn't get that impression. It's a beautiful historical film. I haven't seen such a movie in a long time. I watched "I Am Legend" a long time ago - it's a very impressive film. The depiction of the urban jungle was especially striking. In my opinion, Will Smith did a good job in the main role. Yesterday, I watched "Stilyagi." The era of "gray Soviet life" and the vibrant world of the Stilyagi - an interesting idea from the director. Yarmolnik plays a Jew. Overall, the film was successful.

Just watched "Slumdog Millionaire." It's a good and interesting movie with something for everyone. Oh, I don't even know what to write; so many thoughts... maybe later. P.S. Has anyone else seen it? (If not, please don't write about it; just stay silent.)

Watched "Fight Club". It's simply wonderful. It's a shame I saw it a long time ago and knew how it would end. But the first time I watched it, it was amazing.

"Monsters vs. Aliens" - good thing I didn't watch it in the cinema...mmm...it's watchable, but it's better not to...it's funny in some places, and strange in others...

I watched the movie "Class." It's something else. I was simply stunned by the realism (I can't even call it believability) of everything shown. I recommend it to parents of school-aged children and to mature (!) high school students.

Watched it. The idea is, in principle, commendable, but they overdid it.

People, and I, in just three days, became acquainted with the works of an amazing director, screenwriter, and philosopher. There are three films directed by Darren Aronofsky that elevate cinema to the level of art: "Pi" about the mind, "Requiem for a Dream" about the body, and "The Fountain" about the soul. Excerpts from a quote. I watched them all, and they immediately became part of my collection of favorite films. Especially the soundtrack is outstanding. The directing is unparalleled. "The Fountain" is something special; it truly shows what living philosophy means, i.e., it can be seen. It's a parable about eternal life, but the way it's portrayed is remarkable. By the way, Hugh Jackman plays the main role. "Requiem for a Dream" is a cult drama, but a rapper with the same name simply distorted the idea in his typical style. And I won't even talk about "Pi"; only a genius could name a film with a single letter and have the entire film be about mathematics and some hidden systems, turning a colorless, strange film into a terrifying sci-fi thriller.

I also watched "Legend." It's a fantasy film from 1985, directed by Ridley Scott (!) with Tom Cruise in the main role. The landscapes and style are incredible; even "The Lord of the Rings" can only dream of such things. Although, in essence, it's an old, classic fantasy, slightly childish, with a typical plot about a wanderer, a princess, and unicorns, which the Dark Lord and goblins want to destroy.
