Let me write a little bit of creative stuff before I leave.

Invisible and Loy are true men — if they said they're leaving, then they really are leaving. And there's no reason to be upset; the forum isn't standing still. You could say it's just a natural generational change, which is absolutely normal. Lots of newcomers are appearing, and many of them play really well. I can see that World is currently the most interesting, the fastest progressing forum for Heroes III, which means victories will come soon. We just need to keep moving! Take the niches left by the departed players, organize tournaments like the ones Loy ran to raise skill levels, raise your own level to Invisible's, make sure laws are followed like Smoke :) , and then our resource will achieve victory. I'm confident that among us there are people who can not only play but also bring their creative ideas to life. Mega-plus to Kostyan for creating activity here, despite his registration date. Anyway, you get the idea — don't stay idle, develop the resource; you could say it's the last wish of a dying man :)

My ideas, which I think are interesting, though maybe they're old news. If anyone finds them interesting — please bring them to life.

Creating a magazine for our portal (or for the entire Heroes community) focused on Heroes III — some news, discussions, game analysis, etc. Maybe someone would agree to write a column about game tactics, someone about TE, there's plenty of room for ideas here. I think a monthly magazine would be really interesting to read ;) If a few creative people get together, it'd be great. And it could spark interest in our portal.

Holding inter-portal events. There are many foreign resources out there that we could play against to gain experience and learn something new. You don't need perfect English for that, so don't be afraid. It will improve your skill, and of course it would be very interesting to watch.

Regarding online games — the Hamachi idea didn't take off, and I didn't really develop it much. IMHO, we need to switch to clients with automatic Heroes launch (I had issues with automatic launch and gameplay in GameSpy) and automatic rating tracking. I suggest IGZ — if we can negotiate with them, it would be absolutely awesome. It will simplify life tenfold, I guarantee it. At the very least, create a room in GameSpy just for World players.

Someone should work on a universal transition of SoD players to TE Light — don't be afraid of anything, and value your time. Organize tournaments specifically for this version. Create a topic here with a full description of installation and the conveniences of Light; it's missing here, and not everyone will dig through the Portal's topics.

Well, that's about it. Respect to the tournament organizers on HeroesWorld — past, present, and future — to the moderators, and to all creative people. Be tolerant of each other, don't allow trash talk on the forum, and preserve this place's unique atmosphere.

But if the reason for leaving is related to the arbitrary behavior of some Hacker, who, as far as I know, has already left his post, then this is a sign of weakness and vulnerability. There was a friendly forum, a united Heroes community, and what do I see? During the first "crisis," everyone scattered in different directions. That's not right :smile38:
You have done your job, defended your point of view, and you should continue to set an example for others if you truly value the forum more than your own grievances.

P.S.: In the eyes of those who remain, those who leave look like losers. Can a newcomer, a cheater, and a coordinator who didn't understand the situation really break what was created here over months so easily?
P.S.: I also had a moment when I wanted to leave the Portal :smile01:, for similar reasons. But looking back now, I realize that by not giving in to emotions, I got rid of the "stone in my shoe" and contributed something to my favorite Heroes resource. I sincerely wish the same for you!;)
