There are only 2 objectives: 1. Capture Isabel and perform a ritual on her. 2. Have 3 heroes survive. So, after 6-7 turns from the start of the game, I see Isabel standing nearby with one hero. I think, "Great, she has a small army," so I go after her, and she starts running away. I catch up to her in 2 turns, beat her, and think, "Okay, now I'll see the final cutscene..." but the game continues. In the end, I killed everyone, but the mission doesn't end. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? And please don't tell me that I just need to start over and not touch her. :)

Up there, you'll find Riala and another female hero; you need to talk to them! It's possible that this is just a bug. What version of the game are you playing?

If you install a new version, you need to recreate the map! Version 1.1 is very buggy, so just start the mission from the beginning!

Just run to the upper left corner of the map. Along the way, you'll see a cutscene about the Dark Elves. You'll talk to Railag, and he'll join you. Then, take him and defeat the blue player (in the corner). That's it – the mission is complete, and they show a cutscene of how they defeated the "good" heroes. :) :D :rolleyes:

You seem to be experiencing some kind of glitch.

Elmar, eliminate everyone, build up your army, and level up your heroes. She has one castle, while you have four or five human castles.
Personally, after peacefully eliminating all the computer players (except Isabel), I focused on building castles, accumulating money, and developing my heroes. I cleared all the Marletto towers and arenas, and other locations, leveled up everyone as much as I could, killing neutrals and collecting chests. Then, with Godric, I gathered all the troops, upgraded the peasants to crossbowmen, and, using him as my least developed hero, defeated Isabel.
This is the second-to-last mission, and I preferred to take my time and level up.

I also defeated Isabelle around the 2nd week and had no problems. She had only three archangels, about 20 champions, and other troops accordingly.

You should capture all the towns and dwellings you encounter, then you won't have any problems!

I probably spent about a month gathering troops and then went to defeat Isabel, but she has incredibly strong defenses – around 2,000 peasants and almost 60 archangels. I attacked her with Gordrik, but he got completely crushed. Maybe I should try using Faelan? But I'd like to level up Gordrik... Anyway, I'll give it a try.
