Not at all... I, for example, am a fan of the 4th installment... and this is just my personal opinion... I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but that's how I think.
Of course, the 5th game has better graphics, and some other things have been improved, but the best moments were taken from the 4th game :)

for example, the hero leveling system... it was definitely reworked from the fourth game, not the third...

The third game had life. Everything was interconnected, and all the heroes became familiar. People still remember Sandro, Crag Hack, and others. From the fifth game, I only remember Isabel, and that's because she's the first in the campaigns. The fifth game just reeks of commercialism. Until this is fixed, I'll keep playing the third game.
