How would you act? Would you sacrifice the weak to save the strong, or would you take a risk and try to ensure everyone survives? Let's consider a few situations that I can think of right now. Situation number one: You are the leader of a group of people who have ended up on an island (no idea how). There is very little food. Enough only for a certain number of people. You have a choice: Give food to the able-bodied people, and simply forget about the old and sick. Or continue to give food to everyone and simply hope for a miracle. Situation number two: Again, you are the leader. Your village/town was destroyed by enemies, and you are leading the people away from the village. After moving a decent distance, you decide to stop and let the people rest. Then, a messenger tells you that the raiders are following your trail, and if you don't abandon the people who are slowing you down, the enemies will soon catch up. Would you agree to this? I believe that one shouldn't be a hero. It is, of course, difficult to make the decision to "kill people" in a literal sense, but I think it is necessary to be far-sighted, and it is better for at least some people to survive than for no one to survive.

As someone once said: "one death is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic."

But in this case, everything again depends on the level and quality of education and spiritual upbringing.

I was basing my decision solely on the situations mentioned above. I would abandon my mother, yes. But I would stay with her and die with her. Nevertheless, as a person responsible for the others, I would leave the weakest behind to save the rest.

A true leader is a leader for a reason. And a leader must care about the "common good" (in quotes – so as not to sound too pompous). Therefore, it should be done this way. But it's easy to say, I agree. In reality, it would be much more difficult.

Because a true leader must think ahead. And if you're not a true leader, then get out of this thread!

What will you do if a gun is pointed at your head? Will you knock the gun out of their hand and kill the opponent? Will you run away quickly? Or will you just soil yourself? It's pointless to ask such questions. The answer can only be found when you find yourself in a similar situation. By the way, talking about morality is inappropriate. The worst scum might behave heroically in such a situation, while a "model" of nobility might abandon everyone for their own sake.

They all seem so noble.
But if such a situation were to happen in reality, I doubt everything would unfold as smoothly.
