Contest Rules.

1) Any participant registered on our portal and fulfilling the Contest Conditions can participate in the Contest.
2) The Contest accepts any reports from any Internet resources, confirmed by links to them, and since the Contest is being held on our portal for the first time, dated no later than November 30, 2008 inclusive.
3) Each participant has the right to submit no more than 5 reports. It does not matter what the outcome of the game was for this participant – victory, defeat, or draw.
4) Reports (or simply links to them) can be sent to e-mail: hwletopis@mail.ru or via personal message.
5) After sending a report, it is recommended to leave a message about it in this thread (the report itself should not be left; it is only sent by e-mail or personal message).
6) The nickname of the participant whose report(s) has been received automatically goes into the table of participants in the qualifying round.
7) Deadline for submitting reports: from December 1, 2008, to December 20, 2008, inclusive.
8) The winner will be awarded a prize – an avatar badge on HeroesWorld.ru. Second and third places will receive consolation prizes.



Judging Procedure.

Qualifying Round.
1) No more than one report from each participant can advance to the Final. If a participant submitted more than one report, the Judging Committee selects the best of that participant's reports at its discretion, guided by the Criteria for selecting reports.
2) From all reports sent to the specified e-mail, the Judging Committee (consisting of the Contest organizers) selects one third of the reports, based on the number of participants and guided by the Selection Criteria.

Final.
1) The reports selected by the Judging Committee participate in the final, which is a general vote.
2) Every participant registered on HeroesWorld.ru can vote in the corresponding thread. A poll topic with voting options, and, of course, with the candidate reports themselves, will be created on December 21, 2008.
3) Each person can vote only once and only for one report. Tournament participants, including finalists, are also allowed to vote, including for themselves.
4) In the poll, it will be visible who voted for whom, as well as who voted. The poll will end on December 31, 2008.

Criteria for selecting reports:
• practical value (informative nature) of the report (meaning a style of play / writing a report from which players can learn new / useful information);
• artistic value of the report (evaluated stylistic, art of writing the report; the game moment plays an insignificant role);
• of course, wit, humor :).

Note. The Contest organizers reserve the right to make changes to the tournament rules during its execution.

I suggest that the organizers remove the lower date limit. Since this is the first time such a contest is being held, I would like all submissions, starting from the very beginning of online gaming history, to be eligible.
