HeatEx (Undead, Orson) def. Xodyn (Elves, Winrael) - Spider, 2-1-1
The map is huge without a metro, but the zones seemed too large, and there was little experience gained. I found Orson on the 2nd day, opened one zone, and gave it to Kaspar. I ran away far and for a long time, and it turned out that the zone was a transition to the middle zones, but I never made it there. Hence the result - in the final, Orson was a miserable level 19 against Winrael's level 24. Development went awry - I only got education on level 17; I even had to take stone strength from defense, and I didn't get any Ballistics or Necromancers. But Kaspar turned out quite well with Chaos (the orb), the Tent, Education, and Magic. On the 4th week, seeing Winrael's terrible stats in the tavern, I went through the Gate of the Year, followed by Kaspar with a bunch of elementals. I was hoping to take the castle in Winrael's absence, reaching it from the Gate of the Year with Logistics, but I was a couple of squares short. Winrael fled to the castle but didn't have time to transfer the Archers and Fairies.

I won't post the final because it's embarrassing - I simply crushed him with meat (there were 700 archers and about a hundred warriors) and an unholy word. And even then, it was almost on the edge; even with the redeemed Archliches and Dragons, I'm not sure I would have coped if there had been Snipers and Fairies. And I'm afraid to imagine what artifacts Winrael had; the Elves moved about 4 times more often. :)

Everything went according to plan; with light and resurrection, he broke through the Gate of Oblivion. The opponent surrendered... something went wrong for him.

We played the "Neutral Island" map.
I couldn't break through 4+4+3 Phoenixes on the passage because I was greedy and only took 300 Golems to attack them (I hid the rest). As a result, while finishing off the last Phoenix, I miscalculated and lost my hero, but I also didn't play very well overall, and Vittorio's stats were better - he was already running around in the center while I was still trying to break through... :smile39:

Kolobokk (Humans, Dugal) defeated twaryna (Humans, Myth) - spider 2-2-7 - huge without metro.

The game didn't really start until around week 3. The neutrals were positioned poorly, and the zones were bad.
I took machines on level 3, ballistas and tents, but they didn't last until level 25. I only started using them seriously when I got Darkness with a Berserker.
