Darkness or Light? Philosophy in Knights of the Old Republic. Auto-translated

Unconvincing. You can help others (not to be confused with giving away all your possessions and retiring to a monastery), and still live quite comfortably.

Yes, but at the same time, he won't give others more than he gives himself (in all senses... uh... property, help, time...).

I'm not Locke, so you don't need to make comments like "I'm not a pervert." And it's not necessary to give more to others than you give to yourself – if you're a Jedi, taking down a couple of mercenaries shouldn't be a problem for you, right? (a bit cynical, but the idea is clear). Not to mention that you can draw strength from this (I got this idea from Kotor 2), because compassion makes the person you're helping stronger, and it makes you stronger, because you're realizing your potential, seeing the manifestation of your power (in the same way, Sith see their power in destruction).

And it's not necessary to give more to others than you give to yourself – if you're a Jedi, taking down a couple of mercenaries shouldn't be a problem for you, right?

But how do you feel about the fact that a Jedi cannot love? A Jedi must renounce everything.

You have to hide in basements, like Jole Bindo, Anakin, the male protagonist from KOTOR 1, and many others.
And in general, this is necessary to avoid the Dark Side. Otherwise, you won't even notice how it consumes you (as an example - Anakin, and the holocrons of some couple from Korriban).

Here! And why does one need to be a hermit? And renounce all earthly pleasures? This is already a form of self-sacrifice. A Jedi is a slave to their own principles and ideals.

You are a slave to your own needs and the needs of those close to you. If you want complete freedom, give them up, because they bind you. And from there, it's only a few steps to becoming a Sith.

:Everyone has needs.
Some need:
Girls, booze, drugs...
Others need:
Entertainment (TV, computer, etc.).
Still others need something else...
And close people are also a need.
Just saying...

Well, yes. But you wouldn't rush to transplant your brain into a droid's body, would you? If we are all slaves, wouldn't it be better to wear our chains proudly and with dignity, like Jedi?

Wouldn't it be better to wear your chains with pleasure and to your own benefit?

Simpler – definitely. Better? Perhaps not, because an easy path is almost always the wrong one.

A Jedi, just like a Sith, doesn't care about anything. Jedi and Sith don't care about what a "gray" character feels in their personal life, because a Jedi doesn't have a personal life; they only have the "code," the "order," and other nonsense.

Nonsense. Remember Bastila – she's a Jedi, yet she feels everything. Also, think about the couple from Korriban. A Jedi simply controls their emotions – and that's a sign of willpower. So, it's not convincing.
