It is characterized as: sell-out people - 555, people who sing not for money - 666. Also, Corey teaches the younger generation about all the cruelty and truth of life with this song.

What I like about Slipknot is that they appeared out of nowhere. They were nobodies. For example, here is Corey Taylor's biography:
Corey Taylor was born on December 8, 1973, in the town of Des Moines, Iowa, USA. He lived in poverty; his mother constantly moved from place to place, and therefore by the age of 12, Corey had lived in 25 states. He did not know his father (his mother forbade them from seeing each other) and met him for the first time only in 2005.
Throughout his childhood, Corey suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder. A disease that makes the sufferer obsessed over the smallest of reasons. Corey had a habit of counting steps up to 8, with the right foot counting even numbers and the left counting odd ones. This sometimes drove his mother crazy.
After returning to Iowa, to Waterloo, Corey experienced abuse, poverty, and depression. At age 12, Corey got hooked on drugs. At 14, he was into cocaine, and at 15, he wanted to leave this world.
However, after waking up 20 miles from home, he decided to quit that business anyway.
His mother gave Corey to his grandmother, and he lived with her in Des Moines.
Corey's first role model was Elvis Presley. Corey learned about him from his grandmother, who was also a fan.
Later, Corey had two more role models: Sebastian Bach, frontman of the band Skid Row, and Henry Rollins, frontman of the band Black Flag.
One day, his grandmother gave Corey a guitar. That is how his musical career began.
In 1992, at age 19, Corey wanted to start his own band. Together with his friend Joel Ekman, Corey formed the band Stone Sour. The band managed to release several demos but did not become widely popular, being known only to a small circle of fans in Iowa.
Besides working in the band, Corey got a job at a sex shop, where he was helped get placed by members of Slipknot — Joey, Sean, and Mick.
I worked in a sex shop for three years. During that time, of course, I saw all kinds of freaks and perverts. But the main thing is — a sex shop invites reflection. Look: I come to work at three PM and stay until three AM. In that time, I might have five customers, let's say. Twenty minutes for each. Total — one hour forty. Sometimes you watch some movie or flip through a magazine — another couple of hours. That leaves almost nine hours for reflection. Where else can you find a job where you can think about human nature nine hours a day?! It is impossible to imagine an occupation more intellectual than selling in a sex shop.
In 1998, Corey was invited to sing several songs with Slipknot. Corey agreed and began his participation in the band as a second vocalist, but soon his singing began to take up a much larger part of the music than the singing of the first vocalist, Anders Colsefni. The band decided to put Anders on backing vocals, thereby letting Corey perform almost all of Slipknot's vocal parts. A resentful Anders soon left the band, leaving only one soloist. But Corey wasn't very concerned about Slipknot's fate; he had his own band Stone Sour and that was where he wanted to devote his attention. Then the members of Slipknot, in desperation, threatened to fire Corey from his job at the sex shop where they had placed him, and he decided to leave Stone Sour and give his attention to Slipknot.
Finding a producer and a label in 1998, the band quickly became popular. But in 2001, worst times came for Slipknot. The band didn't want to play together; members weren't talking to each other. Many began to think that the end had come for Slipknot.
By the end of the tour supporting the album 'Iowa', we didn't have a penny. We had nothing. Really! Some of us had some savings, but it still wasn't enough; because the people working for us refused to help us, we had to spend a lot of money on things that could, and most importantly — should, have been free. We bought really a lot of junk that we used only a few times. Due to misinformation, we fell out with each other. The band was on the verge of collapse; yes, those were bad, very bad times...
All members of the group scattered to side projects to somehow distract themselves from Slipknot. Corey was no exception. Since 2000, after Stone Sour member Josh Rand showed Corey several of his songs, he decided to restore that band.
In 2002, they recorded an album and began touring.
On September 17, 2002, Corey Taylor's girlfriend Scarlett gave birth to a son, named Griffin Parker Taylor. Corey was happy to see his child grow, but it was exactly at this time that he started drinking heavily.
I drank just for fun, but the time came when it turned from amusement into necessity. During my son's first year of life, I was simply incoherent because I drank incessantly. I tried not to make a show of it, but one day, my wife went to see Mudvayne, and I got so drunk that instead of looking after my son, I completely blacked out, worrying about nothing.
In 2003, Slipknot were supposed to reunite again to record a new album. No one in the band really wanted to go back, but only one member, Corey Taylor, was firmly decided on leaving it. He had thought it over and already planned everything. He was just about to call Sean Crahan and say: "To hell with it all, I don't need this. I'd rather shoot myself than do this." Taking a deep breath into his lungs, Corey took the mobile phone and dialed an old friend's number. Clown's line was busy. "And you know what?" the vocalist says solemnly. "If he hadn't been busy, I wouldn't be here today."
Everyone tried to return and do something for Slipknot; I thought differently: To hell with it! I'll leave the band before you force me to do this! No one really wanted to let that happen, but everything looked different. 'I won't let this happen! I need to say something!' The only way out of this situation was reading our interviews and other crap. For me, it was truly simple to think about compassion. 'No one will sympathize:'; you can ask anyone from our group. Everyone had the same period in their life. Each held the phone in their hand wondering whether to call or not? Everyone was guided by the thought: Better I end this now than later hate everything that I loved with all my heart.
But Corey was eventually persuaded, and Slipknot began recording their third album. At this time, the soloist's alcoholism reached a new level.
I was an alcoholic. The most terrible time was when we were recording «Subliminal Verses». I simply lost control over myself, hiding bottles of Jack Daniel’s (whiskey) under my pillow. I started drinking from the moment I woke up until the moment I passed out, wherever that happened to be. Of course, this couldn't be pleasing to me or my wife, and one day, she grabbed me by the hair and screamed: "Look at yourself!" I was all swollen, I felt so shitty, but I just couldn't realize it. All I remember on the last night when I got drunk is that we were in a terrarium. I was vomiting right on people walking along Sunset Boulevard (Los Angeles). Naturally, I was thrown out, and my wife left with the words: "Fuck you! I can't stand this anymore!"
His wife's words made Corey think. During the recording of the album, Corey dedicates the song Vermilion to his wife, and also writes a song about love (Virus Of Life), calling it a virus that sucks out all the juices of life.
Realizing that alcohol wasn't worth it, Corey quits drinking and opens a new page in his life.
On March 11, 2004, Corey married his fiancée Scarlett. Now Scarlett Taylor. The wedding was quiet, and therefore there was no fuss in the press.
In 2005, Corey found his missing father.
I found my dad! Practically, my wife found my father, and he is one of the coolest guys on the planet. I spoke with him for the first time after my wife found him; it was very, damn, very emotional. We "cried" for about 20 minutes. It was truly intense. I never knew who my dad was. I didn't even know his name. He knew that I was born, but my mother told him to leave my life. One way or another, my wife started talking about this with my mother. She realized that I am no longer a child, that I have my own family, and I have the right to know the truth. She gave my wife his name and all information about him. My wife hired a private detective, and he found him. At that moment, I was on tour in South America. It was so unexpected; someone came up to me and said: "We found your father." My father lived in San Diego with his wife. I am so happy, damn, I can't even express it in words. I was very happy at that moment. [...] after he and his [family] learned that I am in the band Slipknot, they asked a neighborhood kid if he had heard of Slipknot? And he said: "Dude, this is an amazing band, but the singer is shit."
Before meeting his father, Corey dedicated many songs to him, such as Eyeless and Eyeore.
After the tour supporting Slipknot, Corey returns again to Stone Sour, and by this point he has undergone a complete re-evaluation of values. The band releases their second album, more successful than the first.
In 2007, Corey Taylor records and stars in the music video for the song I’m not Jesus together with the band Apocalyptica.
In 2008, Corey Taylor divorced his wife Scarlett Taylor.

Slipknot to put on a grand show for their first concert in Russia
“As part of the concert, Slipknot musicians, led by their vocalist Corey Taylor, will present material from their new album and put on a grand show, the likes of which Russia has never seen before,” a source at the agency said.
She noted that “the musicians, known for their intimidating stage images with creepy masks, are bringing all their equipment from America on three planes and three large trucks.”
“They will have fantastic scenery, excellent sound, lighting that is more powerful than the shows of Queen and Iron Maiden combined, and even some amazing rotating drum kit,” the organizer shared the details.
The most interesting part of the band’s requirements for the organizers was the catering. The musicians turned out to be true patriots of their country, asking for fast food for their second lunch: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, dishes made of fried meat and poultry, and Mexican cuisine.
As a dessert for dinner, the Slipknot band, despite their intimidating appearance, preferred cookies, pies, cakes, and ice cream.
In addition to everything else, the musicians ordered mineral water, juices, energy drinks, and 1.8 liters of Stolichnaya or Gray Goose vodka, a liter of Jägermeister, a liter of high-quality wine, a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of Crown Royal whiskey, a case of Coors Light and Sam Adams Light beer, and a lot of snacks for their dressing room.

In an interview, Corey revealed the secret of the video.
