You can still manage with 1024, but what do you think, is it possible with 512?:)

I've been playing with 256 MB and I'm doing fine... somehow surviving :o

How is it possible to play "Heroes" with 256 MB of RAM? Once, I gave a friend 512 MB, and I was left with the same amount, and the game lagged terribly!

Then the asus en7600gt/2dht 256 mb (pcie, geforce 7600 gt, dvi, tv-out, retail) is a better option, it costs $226 and falls into the "borrow and buy" category on Igromania.

Well, which one is better? GeForce FX 5500 or GeForce TI4200:confused:

Regarding the second one, I don't know about it, so don't worry, just take the first one; it will handle games well in the near future.

FX 5500 is on par with a 9800PRO.

Then, a Geforce 6600.

So, it turns out the GeForce FX 5500 is actually pretty decent:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Actually, when you're buying a video card, consult with the salesperson; they will definitely recommend a good card at a reasonable price. ;)
