If I'm not mistaken, it was called "Russian Fishing," and I remember playing it. It was just one evening for fun with friends over some beer. The game is pretty cool, no doubt. Fishermen will understand. I was playing on a save file from Durga; I already had gear and wasn't starting from scratch. I don't remember the name of the main location for catching large fish, the biggest lake, but I was catching pike there, and in their terms, the largest one seemed to be around 16 kg. I couldn't catch salmon, but I wasn't really trying. It was easier to catch perch, zander, and pike; I guess I was just more used to it. ;-)) I also caught a lot of different carp in the pond. But the most interesting thing is fishing in non-standard locations, going somewhere else. There, you can catch nelma, taimen, and sturgeon. A friend of mine played it quite a lot and showed me how it works. :-)

I played it:smile43: but I have version 1.5 - sometimes it helps to calm down from just sitting in front of the monitor - only a couple of times I got really into it, and my fisherman was starving... usually, I catch crabs and small fish - in real life, I have more luck - when an experienced fisherman is nearby and gives advice... it's embarrassing to admit, but I actually enjoy casting the fishing rod more than just standing on the shore - my arm is strong, so I can cast far:smile04: in general, you need patience and time, and in this regard, our heroes are more dynamic...

I play occasionally, about once a week. My modest achievements include catching a Som weighing 319.8 kg and a Beluga weighing 349.19 kg.
