For informational purposes regarding the labyrinth size (the Spider and Leto factions will have the same). A large map with a Dungeon is, of course, larger, but you might have to regenerate the Dwarf faction and possibly others. But a map without a Dungeon... I'll quote Immortal:
"""
1) Smile, Diamond - Medium with a Dungeon or Large without.
2) M3 - Large with a Dungeon or Very Large without.
3) Spider, Leto, Labyrinth, Shield - Large with a Dungeon or Huge (256x256) without.
In general, to get a map without a Dungeon that is the same size as one with a Dungeon, you need to increase the size by 2 (a Large map with a Dungeon is larger than a Very Large map without; a Huge (256x256) map without will be approximately the same, since the Dungeon doubles the map size, and the difference between adjacent sizes is less than double).
Some templates remain playable with different map sizes (Smile, Diamond, M3), but group 3 will be unplayable with a Very Large map without a Dungeon - the zones will be tiny."
"""
And Moz recommended it - here's a link to ag.ru - the 3rd post.
http://forums.ag.ru/?board=heroes5&action=display&s=0&num=1219989432&start=0And from me) Playing on a Large map won't lead to any imbalances, like overly aggressive monsters - everything is fine. And for those who like to play faster - it's quite suitable. But... the zones are small (generate them yourself - take a look). And an important point: from the starting town to the castle, you'll have almost 100% fewer turns. So, in my opinion, a Huge map is also good if it's without a Dungeon.
And finally. The Goblin faction is, of course, easily defeated.... But based on experience, I'm sure that for some players, the game can drag on for a very long time) There's a lot to do there, and there's plenty of room to explore. I recommend not delaying the start.
