Yeah, that's why all this stuff gets wiped when you reinstall Windows. So, the conclusion is – you need to copy your saves to a safe place. I strongly recommend everyone does that.

Maybe the version doesn't match? I have version 3.1. And you need to put it in the Saves folder.

The Campaign.sav file for version 3.1 is compatible with version 3.0. I started playing the Heroes of Might and Magic campaigns in version 3.0 and finished them in version 3.1.

Tomorrow I can bring my Campaign.sav file. However, it's a bit of a mess. The first missions were completed with a hero in version 3.0, the middle missions with a hero in version 3.1, and the last missions with a warrior in version 3.0. Currently, I'm playing through the second mission of the last campaign with a hero. Any mission loads without problems for me. Just for fun, I'll download the uploaded Campaign.sav file and check it out tomorrow evening.
I suspect that I don't have a licensed copy, but patch 3.1 installed without any issues.
Or install patch 3.1. My save loaded perfectly. And Zephyr is so cool there. He's already level 32 at the start of the 2nd mission. My Zephyr has a long way to go. That's why I didn't bring my save. But it doesn't bother me. Zephyr will defeat Biara anyway. I'm more worried about other heroes.

Please, could you share it? I have version 3.1 installed anyway. It wouldn't be difficult for me to play through it; in fact, I've almost finished the Barbarian campaign, but unfortunately, due to a penetrator, I had to reinstall Windows, and all my saves were lost.
