Or install patch 3.1. My save loaded perfectly. And Zephyr is so cool there. He's already level 32 at the start of the 2nd mission. My Zephyr has a long way to go. That's why I didn't bring my save. But it doesn't bother me. Zephyr will defeat Biara anyway. I'm more worried about other heroes.

Apparently, compatibility between versions is one-way. 3.1 reads saves from version 3.0, but not the other way around. My save probably won't be readable in version 3.0 either.
