Everything that isn't related to The Gathering Storm works perfectly. With excellent translation and without a single error. I used to have problems with FarGus discs as well. There was a game where I couldn't progress past level 4 – it crashed. But couldn't you just replace the files from The Gathering Storm with working ones, and everything would work perfectly?

If you mean Equilibris, then to install it, you need to install not only the mod itself, but also two more files - executable RAR archives, heroes4_sfx.exe and camp_ed_sfx.exe. First, unpack them into the game folder, and then run the mod installer.
As a result, you will have 3 executable files for launching the game: the one that was for Warlords/Armageddon's Blade, the regular Equilibris, and the Equilibris tournament version. Moreover, each version can only load saves that were made on it. Otherwise, the game simply won't recognize them.

In Russia, only Buka has the rights to publish Heroes 4! Therefore, no other company can release licensed discs with any expansions for Heroes 4. So, if you really want to play properly, buy a license from Buka. So that you don't have a bitter disappointment later that the game is almost finished, but some glitch prevents you from completing the mission.

Installing one of the expansions (Whirlwinds/Storm) before Equilibris is sufficient. At least, I only have Whirlwinds installed, and Equilibris works fine on top of it.
For example, I've never even seen Storm. I have licensed copies of both Whirlwinds and Storm, but the game itself is a pirated copy, and Storm won't install on it.
Although, the game itself was originally a licensed copy, but one day the game disc... shattered into pieces right in the drive:D I bought an identical disc (it took me a whole year to find it!) - it's a pirated copy (I even compared the installation discs - they only differ slightly in color, and the licensed version has the StarForce logo), and I couldn't install Whirlwinds on it - I had to find a pirated version of Whirlwinds :( That's a sad story...

First of all, you need to find out what version of Heroes IV you have. Because you can't play on the basic version over the network; you need Warlords or Armageddon (and preferably Equilibris, because everyone here plays Heroes IV, and not just here, with Equilibris).

Secondly, you need to install Hamachi, a program that emulates a local network over the internet.
Thirdly, you need to find an opponent – I suggest visiting here.

This map has very little to do with the heroes, because it is empty. There are no players on it.
