In my opinion, it's not even about chaos itself, but about its element - air. If her special ability affected fire magic, this hero would be used much more often, because for a dwarf in chaos, the only way is fire; there's pyrokinesis there.

I like Ibba. I generally like cavalry. Also, I like Karl. Usually, fast enemies attack my archers, but at least they can hold out for a while.

To reduce the damage dealt by fast-moving enemies to your archers early in the game, divide them into several stacks. This increases the chance of crippling the fast-moving units.

I also like Dwarves.

HELMARD – HE’S AMAZING. Seriously, I was playing as Helmard, buffed with both Darkness and Light, and he was destroying armies three times his size. He’s definitely the king!

I usually choose Ibbu, with Carli being my second choice. Cavalry will be useful, and archers too.

Generally, I prefer Sylvan, but when the situation demands it, I take Dungeon and give it everything (though, only if it's already reasonably well-developed).

I personally like Helmar the most (during long gameplay sessions), as well as Ibba and Ingvar.

I like Inga. It's great that you can learn runes without having to return to the city for them, and I also like Ingvar. He's easy to start with – his starting army includes a lot of Mountain Guards.

No matter how many times I play as Dwarves, it never felt particularly easy to clear out the neutral creatures at the beginning; it was more tedious and time-consuming. I would separate a large number of individual units. After upgrading to Harpooners, it became easier, of course, but...

Thanks to the extra number of bears that come with Ibba, you can effectively harass neutral creatures on the battlefield. In long games, the initial attack of the bears will be very significant, and it won’t be that easy to kill them. Ibba is a versatile hero among the dwarves, and she is also one of the best heroes of the Underworld, however, it should be noted that there are many good heroes in the Underworld in general; it would be more correct to highlight not the best, but the worst. In my opinion, Svea is an outsider. You can play with the rest.

If you just want to play without thinking about strategy or tactics, then Ingvar is the perfect choice. You can complete the entire game using only Mountain Guards and barely even need to enter the town.

My favorite hero is Wolfenstein, but unfortunately, you can't play as him in multiplayer games. Otherwise, I play as Ibby.

I enjoy playing as Erling. It is known that magic is one of the main attributes for dwarves, but they cannot compete in this regard with dark elves and wizards due to the extremely rare chance of obtaining the "spellcasting" skill.
Erling has spellcasting right from the start. The only downside is his clear focus on chaos magic (fire, pyrokinesis). So, it's difficult to surprise an enemy hero.

Ibba, because I think bears are the strongest dwarven units, and I feel the same way... nothing special. Another option is Ingvar; his defenders are practically invulnerable, and they hit very hard. Brand is also good; his ability is simply amazing! Svea is the worst; I haven't encountered such a useless ability yet.
