I type by looking at the keyboard, but quickly. At least, before, I would spend a long time searching for letters on the keyboard, and the word "Thank you" could take about 40 seconds to type; now it's different...

Letters appear in front of them, and you have to type them as quickly as possible on the keyboard...

It seems to be called babytype. I don't type very fast myself, although this is enough for me.

I voted for the second option – although in my case, the situation is slightly different – I didn’t “forget” how to do it, but rather “didn’t learn it properly.” About six months ago, I spent about a week practicing the blind typing method – and there are results.;)
It really helps.

Lately, I've become quite proficient with the keyboard, almost typing without looking:smile01:. But unfortunately, I can't use the ten-finger method; I only use four fingers((.

I think that's pretty fast. I always type without looking at the keyboard. I remember the entire layout by heart :D

Hmm... It turns out that the speed on this image (see post 32) updates as new results are achieved. To avoid creating any illusions, I'll clarify that this is a record result, related to good concentration (which doesn't always happen), and a very simple text (uncomplicated words, a minimum of "extreme" letters, like the hard sign, and no complex punctuation: only commas and periods). In reality, I type about one and a half to two times slower on average. And if it's an instant message or a post on a forum, then even more time can be spent on thinking about the development of the thought and simply on formulating the sentence.
