Awarding points for Tournaments is a great idea. The problem is that we don't have many Tournaments during the season. For example, at the end of summer, the results of three online Tournaments were summarized, but it seems that none of them could be included in the ranking. Teams, fixes, and inter-portal games are excluded from the formula. Currently, Evgeny's Tournament is underway; more than half of the participants have already "dropped out" and are looking with envy at the feast at someone else's table.
Perhaps it would be worth considering holding regular Tournaments? Let's take tennis Tournaments as an example. Every month, on the 1st, a Tournament begins, and registration opens for the next one, starting on the 15th. The rules are knockout matches. The number of participants is unlimited, with qualifying matches. We can draw lots randomly, or we can base it on the ranking table. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 pairs + qualifying matches. Obviously, more than 128 participants will not be gathered, which means only 7 matches for the winner, i.e., a maximum of two months. Accordingly, points should be awarded to the winner for each round (without duplicating them in the ranking reports), and points should not be deducted from the loser. For example, for winning in the qualification round - 25 points, in round 1 - 50 points, in round 2 - 75, in round 3 - 100, in round 4 - 125, etc. Points should not be awarded for technical wins. Then, with 4 participants, the winner will receive 125 points for two wins, with 8 participants, the winner will receive 225 points for three wins, with 16 participants (4 wins) - 350 points, 32 participants - 5 wins - 500 points...
In the future, it would be possible to hold "Grand Slam" Tournaments, in which players who have shown the best results in these Tournaments would participate.

We are eagerly awaiting the results. Personally, I've learned much more in these one and a half months on the portal than I did in a year of playing in clubs and with friends. There were truly interesting games, strong opponents, and challenging situations. I'm satisfied with my result, although I could use more experience, but I'll probably be among the top 20 out of 90+ participants.

The rating is updated when SS-D has free time. The 1st of the month has nothing to do with it. The results are summarized once per season, and the current season will end on August 31st.

Suggestion for the rating system:
Tournament matches should be recorded in the rating table.
Tournament wins should be considered more significant and award rating points with a multiplier.
Award rating points for placing in a tournament.
If a tournament has a strong lineup of participants, categorize it separately. In addition to all other bonuses, multiply all points earned in it by 2 (or use another coefficient).
