I agree with many who have already expressed their opinion here. The graphics in Heroes 3 are very good, and most importantly, they were made with passion. And for the time when the game was released, it was simply a masterpiece! :smile54: Besides, in general, for games like Heroes, graphics are not the most important thing.

I also play the first Heroes game, so the graphics have never stopped me from playing. Especially when it comes to tournaments.

The graphics in Heroes 3 are magnificent... even by today's standards, when games like Crysis and Unreal exist, they evoke a sense of delight. The cities look the best; they are simply stunning. Well, on the map, yes, everything is in squares... but how cool it is to realize that each square wants to convey something, what each pixel is for...
Play the third installment if you haven't already, but don't forget about the fifth one either.
Whoever remembers the past will have an eye plucked out, and whoever doesn't remember will have both... I still need my eyes, and I can't bring myself to call the third game old... nor do I want to.
It is legendary and great.And everything that is depicted in it is much richer and more extensive than in the empty and meaningless shooter of the present time, which is technologically advanced but not beautiful.

The idea of hero progression is indeed good, but it's poorly implemented. What I like is the music in Heroes 4; it's truly amazing.

Regarding the music, yes! But the sheer number of hero possibilities, when you mix different abilities, is impressive, and the beauty of the world is also nice, but the combat system is a nightmare. There's a cool little storyline in one of the campaigns, but overall, Heroes 3 is the best!!!!!!

The graphics didn't disappoint – for its time, the 2D visuals are quite acceptable and beautiful; everything is excellently drawn, but the battles... well...

Personally, the 3D graphics in the fifth installment of Heroes of Might and Magic completely ruin my desire to play; it's just infuriating. But that's not the case with the third game. The third game is simple, convenient, easy to understand, and, for me, the most beautiful! Third game forever!!!

1) Back in the day, the graphics in Heroes III were stunning. I personally was captivated by the interiors of the castles and the detailed depiction of heroes and monsters. The fifth installment doesn't evoke the same feelings in me. Everything seems a bit rough.
Nowadays, the graphics of the third part don't look as new and fresh, but with each new 3D game, it becomes even more original and appealing. It's like a good, high-quality wine. And the winemakers, in this case, are 3DO.

2) IMHO: the only truly "heroic" graphics are those of the third part of the series. The second Heroes also look very good and still please the eye, but they lack some kind of gloominess, gothic feel, which is well felt in the third, and not in the fifth, which is more cartoonish. And when I hear the word "heroes," I imagine pictures from this part - the atmospheric Inferno castle, posters with Gelu and Katrina, the bulky Trogolodites, and the smooth-skinned Wyverns.
That's just my idea of the ideal heroic graphics.

The graphics in the third Heroes game are stunning! The music is great too. It has a certain gothic, dark feel, a sense of REAL fantasy warfare. The same goes for the graphics and music in Disciples 2. But that's a different story. The graphics in the first and second Heroes games are too bright and cheerful, as if the warriors are dying for fun in these epic battles. The graphics in the fourth game are also somewhat appealing to me. BUT! I don't like the models of some of the units. For example, the Medusa in the fourth game is just... Where did they put the menacing look of the Medusas from the third game? And in general, I like Heroes 1, 2, 3, and 4 because they are beautiful, but they don't consume as many system resources as the fifth Heroes game. There's no need to wait for long reloads, crashes, errors, or slowdowns. Everything runs smoothly.
The graphics in Heroes 5 are also very impressive. In Heroes 5, I really like the human race; it has improved and become stronger. By looking at their cities and warriors, you can immediately tell that they are servants of Elrath. I also really like the battle process in Heroes 5. The warriors shout their battle cries so triumphantly. The archer, the swordsman, and the paladin all shout at once, the knight's horse neighs, the griffin starts to caw, and the angel raises his sword to the sky... It's beautiful!

The third installment is quite mainstream and doesn't quite capture the spirit of the Heroes series. Everything essential was already established in the second game. If the graphics of the second game don't bother me, then the third one certainly won't either. I'd rather not comment on the fifth game.

To be honest, if you're not a huge fan of this game, the graphics might deter you from playing, but somehow, I still feel drawn to play it. Maybe it's the atmosphere of Heroes 3...

Interesting: it would gain 3 new fans if it were in high resolution...
