4. The ability to return isn't always a good thing either.

I like ghost monsters, archangels, and thunderbirds. Archangels – speed and attack, ghost monsters – defense penetration and health, thunderbirds – health and double attack.

I completely agree; we should also add Black Dragons – fast attacks with a return effect, and we’ll have a fantastic foursome! :)

In my opinion, everyone has their own pros and cons, but more often than not, it's not about what abilities a player has, but about how skilled the player is and how effectively they can use them (+).
