I invite all fans of offline Heroes III tournaments to participate in what I think is an interesting mini-blitz шахтёрский tournament: General Tournament Rules:

1. To participate in the Heroes 3 Tournament, you must register on our website and also submit an application in this thread.

2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of Heroes 3: The Shadow of Death with patch 3.2 or 4.0.

3. The goal of the game is to capture the castle at (11;14;0) in the shortest number of days. In case of a tie, the second criterion will be the number of gems! If that doesn't help determine the winner, then gold will decide!

4. Discussion of the tournament during its course is PROHIBITED!!!
If the organizer or his assistant has documented evidence of discussion of the tournament anywhere on the Internet, he has the right to permanently disqualify such player(s) from participating in tournaments www.heroesworld.ru. The results of such players will not be counted and will be annulled.
The tournament organizer also reserves the right to consider that the discussion of the tournament was between players if players from the same clan completed the tournament identically.

5. The use of any cheats and bugs in a clean playthrough is prohibited. The result will be voided.

The only exception to the rules in this tournament: if the week "+5 monsters X" or the month "monster X" appears, the player has the right not to replay the transition of the week/month.

6. It is forbidden to use cheating programs, codes, or additional programs that can change the structure of the game in a clean playthrough.

7. In case of suspicion of a player using cheats or other malicious intent during the map walkthrough, it is necessary to make a save before each significant event (for example, before a battle, before hiring another hero). The result of the player who played unfairly, as well as the one who did not send his description (saves) on time at the request of the tournament organizer, will be canceled, and further participation in tournaments will be impossible. This will also affect his reputation, but not in a good way.

8. Sequence of actions for participating in the tournament:

8.1. Download the save (at the end of the post).

8.2. The downloaded save must be placed in the GAMES folder of your installed Heroes 3 on your computer.

8.3. Load it and start playing whenever you have free time, while remembering to make intermediate saves (at least - at the end of each game day).

8.4. After completing the last action (after which victory occurs), you need to save again.
In the sent save, all heroes except the hero performing the last action and those heroes that cannot be dismissed must be dismissed.
Save name: the save should contain the abbreviation of the name, the participant number, and the player's nickname.

Example:
4S_1_Dirty_Player.gm1 or FS_1_Dirty_Player.gm1

8.5. A complete description of the walkthrough of the tournament map is encouraged (not required).

8.6. Send this save to nmr@bk.ru and .
At the same time, leave a message in this thread stating that you have sent the save.

8.7. Wait for the results to be announced.

9. The tournament starts on 20.06.2008 and will run until 20.07.2008 (inclusive, up to 24:00 Moscow time). Only one final save is accepted from each player.
The final results will be published no later than 29.07.2008.

10. After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:
save accepted - next to the bold Nickname.
save counted – next to the italicized Nickname.

Dear participants of the tournament, especially those who have not yet sent their saves! Please send your saves to both addresses indicated in the first post of this topic! This applies especially to those who like to send saves at the last second. :D
This condition is not mandatory, but highly desirable, because if there are failures in the operation of the mail or yandex server, the save may simply not arrive, which would be a pity....

As you can see, nothing was said about what reward the tournament winner will receive. Therefore, I am informing you that the following decision has been made: The player who takes 1st place will receive $50 as a reward; The player who takes 2nd place will receive $30 as a reward; The player who takes 3rd place will receive $20 as a reward. I would also like to inform you that a request has been sent to the esteemed Creator to consider the possibility of awarding the winner who takes 1st place with an avatar reward called "Ring of Precious Stones." The map is excellent!!! It takes a maximum of an evening to complete! So I don't see any reason not to play this map, at least to reach the required number of players for a game;)

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a computer at home; it's been about two months now... :( It's undergoing repairs...

Haven't looked at the map yet, but I think I'll manage to complete it within a month. Besides, if Dirty made the map, I think it's definitely worth playing. :)
