Dungeon is my favorite faction:smile54:. I especially like their magic; they are the strongest, like sorcerers (although the Academy should be the ones with that role). And their army is pretty good overall:smile42:. I especially love the Furies, although the Lizards and Dragons are just as good (the only drawback is that the Lizards die like flies):smile05:.

Well, I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I do enjoy playing the dungeon:).
So, clearing the map is done with the new upgraded Scouts and any of the Beast units (I still prefer the new ones against neutrals, but you can upgrade them further towards the endgame). At the same time, all troops are built in the castle as quickly as possible, and only then does the recruitment begin (I mean troops of level 3 and higher).
Therefore, I usually only use levels 1 and 2 for the first few weeks. Then, as money accumulates, I recruit:
- Sovereigns
- Dragons
- Riders
- Hydras
- Minotaurs
Specifically in that order. Of course, depending on the length of the game, there may not be enough money for all of them. Also, if the map is small, some levels may not be built at all. For example, Minotaurs and Dragons, or these two plus one of Hydra/Riders, although in the endgame, I think Hydras are preferable. Or, depending on the map, again, the first 2 levels can be built and upgraded, plus Sovereigns and Dragons. This is a fairly expensive, but at the same time fast and powerful option (my favorite). In general, if the map is not very large, all seven levels will not be recruited, and most likely, some will not even be built. Therefore, I recruit those that are available / that I have enough money for and arrange them in stacks depending on the opponent. That's roughly how it works:).

Mines can be built earlier; let them accumulate. Closer to the final battle, try to buy and upgrade them as much as possible – extra troops won’t hurt. Hydras are good for any game – they provide tanks. And the number of casts for a Warlock can be decisive. I think it’s very important to build Witches early, as they cast spells very well, which is really helpful. And while the army isn’t full of troops, you can divide them into several stacks and strengthen the attack stacks (Furies, Griffins, maybe Lizards) with Haste or weaken enemy units. Also, Leto can learn dark magic spells from them.

+1 to defense for adjacent stacks applies to Minotaurs. Witches don't have that ability.

I wasn't talking about witches, but in general. I was playing as the Dungeon faction, and I split the enemy army into several groups and placed them next to each other. I didn't have any Minotaurs in my army; I was just looking at the defense before the battle, and it was +1. During the battle, it became +2, but it's possible that I simply visited a +1 defense idol and didn't notice. So, I apologize for misleading everyone.
