and so the division was created Who writes in what language? who has actually dealt with programming? let's discuss I know Pascal, of course, and Basic, but I usually write in Delphi I recommend Delphi 10, it has an extended interface, the best code navigation in the history of programmers, and a clear help system for beginners.

I was into programming for a while. When we started learning Pascal in school :) But then I kind of lost interest in it. The only thing I would like to learn right now is web programming, to learn how to create websites and so on.
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
In 2008, I started working on my own strategy game, similar to Heroes, with city development, but much less visually appealing :o. I'm writing the code, and my friend is doing the artwork. I'll post some screenshots soon:)

In the "HTML from simple to complex" topic, you'll find useful information for you.
In the same topic, soon, expect my posts dedicated to teaching beginners web programming.
Friends!!!
Even if you haven't written outstanding programs, but only did some basic programming in school, that's okay. Please tell me about all your endeavors, so it will be easier for me to prepare contests of appropriate difficulty for you on this topic.

I once took a Delphi textbook, and it was a foreign one with typos, so I spent 2 hours working on a simple calculator.
We also learned QBASIC in school.
Ah, I finished school – now I miss it.
essentially, it's qsort, just slightly modified (if I'm not mistaken). Congratulations, it's a very interesting and unusual solution!)))
Excellent, 3 out of 5 tasks are ready, and a tournament will be held soon!!! These 3 tasks are standard and extremely simple. If you received a 5 or 4 in school on the topic of programming, you will easily complete them! Tasks 4 and 5 are designed for a more thoughtful solution. We haven't decided yet, but most likely task 4 will be related to sorting, nik312 ;) and task 5 will be an Olympiad-level problem.

qsort is the fastest sorting method, but it's not the most accurate. Forgive me, I don't remember the exact code, but the idea is to divide the array into many small groups and sort the members of each group in ascending (or descending) order. Then, we sort the groups themselves. For an array containing 1,000,000,000 members, this will be much faster than a standard sort, but there's a possibility of errors with a large number of repeating groups. Your sorting approach is completely different. But your program, although I haven't tested it with specific examples yet, will most likely be slower than qsort. Basically, you have a standard sort (I apologize, I didn't understand it at first) with some new features. I was too quick to congratulate you; I apologize, but your solution is standard. Do you want me to post the qsort code?

Ah, BASIC... my computer science teacher made me suffer with it. But it wasn't for nothing. Now I understand programming languages pretty well. But I still prefer HTML. However, I'm not working on a website for a guild right now. If anyone's interested, I can show you my work.
Someone does! ;) It's always interesting to see other people's work. I learned Pascal in school, and I could solve problems quickly, but I've stopped using it now. Currently, I'm trying out ActionScript.
it will be done using scripts) if you mean standard JavaScript, which is embedded in HTML and can be written directly in Notepad without any additional connections.

Sorry, but I can't finish it before the programmers' tournament, as there's a task there. :) As soon as it's over, I'll show it. For now, here are some screenshots from my creation, which is still far from complete (as promised). Again, thank you to my friend for the castle and warriors! The last three screenshots show a human city developed to its maximum. In the dragon race, I'm using the dragons that I posted in the Art Gallery. Let me know what you think; your opinion is important to me.
