Let's discuss Wyverns. Also, what Wyvern upgrade do you choose?
Added 2 minutes later
I choose Pao-Kais. For some reason, I liked them right away, although the Dark Wyverns are good too. Now I'm choosing the Dark Wyverns to compare which upgrade is better.
the best thing is dark wyverns. Imagine, you have paoka, and around them are orcs, and then they are attacked. They fight back randomly. And along with the enemy, your own warriors also die. It's not very pleasant. :) :smile16:

? When they retaliate, only the attacking stack receives damage. Or am I mistaken? ...
You are right, Paoka retaliates against only one attacking creature; Gondar must have gotten something mixed up.
I use them situationally; mostly, I prefer Dark Wyverns. Poison and regeneration do their job.
Once, I shamefully lost to the computer in a triple duel. (Final: Lethos-Shak'Karukat). I had Night Hags with Vampirism, while he had Paoka, which devoured all the corpses that littered the battlefield after three pairs of heroes clashed. Eventually, the Vampirism ran out, but the corpses remained...
Слово "РАСА" пишется с одной буквой С. В слове ВОИН нет буквы Й. Пять восклицательных знаков в конце каждого предложения - признак подростковых комплексов.
I usually take the Pao-Kai, the lightning from their mouth does its job, hitting several enemies at once, but the poison affects everyone differently.
I take them for the same reason, Electric Breath helps. I don't use the Scavenger, though, I didn't know about this ability (I haven't read the creature descriptions in a long time  ). Poison from other wyverns can certainly damage the army, but I think electricity is still better.

Electric Breath only affects enemies (as far as I know :smile08: )

Once, I shamefully lost to the computer in a triple duel. (Final: Lethos-Shak'Karukat). I had Night Stalkers with vampirism left, and he had Pao-Kais, which ate all the corpses that littered the field after three pairs of heroes. In the end, the vampirism ran out, but there were still corpses...
Is the Scavenger ability really that useful?

I take them depending on the situation, mostly Dark Wyverns, poison and regeneration do their job.
Yes, regeneration certainly helps, but poison doesn't seem to deal that much damage. Or am I wrong?
You are right, Paoka only counterattacks one attacking creature; Gondar must have gotten something mixed up.
I use them situationally; mostly, I use Dark Wyverns. Poison and regeneration do their job.
Sorry, but I'm not mistaken! That's how it happened. Paoka were surrounded by Orcs, and Twilight Dragons attacked them. They counterattacked, and everything around them died, including my Orcs.

I take Paoka. Because they attack multiple units at once with electricity... And their "Scavenger" ability is, in my opinion, more useful than the "Regeneration" ability (of Dark Wyverns).
I usually take Paoka if the game lasts longer than a month; you need to accumulate (as Nazg would say) corpses, but for the first month, it's much better to take dirty Vipers.

Yes, my FRIEND, and it also depends on their level... Pay attention to that...:smile20:
Here is the description...
Scavenger This creature can restore its health and even its numbers by consuming the corpses of enemies on the battlefield within its movement range (activated ability). The unit receives 20% of the total health points of the dead unit.
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
That's exactly what it's all about. Because of it, I always only take Necrophages, and here's my main argument: no matter how skilled you are, there will always be intermediate battles where losses are almost inevitable, and of course, any sensible player will try to minimize them. For an Orc who can't resurrect warriors with magic, this can only be done with the help of the "Scavenger" skill (if anyone knows another way, let me know) - Necrophages play a key role, taking the brunt of the attacks and then easily resurrecting by eating corpses. The result: battles of medium difficulty (strong neutrals, and sometimes even an enemy army) are passed with MUCH fewer losses, or even without any losses at all:D Regarding the final battle in Feanor, everything he said is correct. It really is a very common mistake: not finishing off the Necrophages. Because if even 1 (!!!!!!) unit remains in the stack, then the entire stack can be resurrected COMPLETELY, the number of uses is limited only by the number of corpses on the battlefield (and how do their bellies not burst from eating so much???) and the opponent will have to deal with such a large stack again:rolleyes: But I don't like the electric breath, because the damage is DIVIDED among all the units that the Necrophage hits, meaning the more of them there are, the less damage each one receives. In my opinion, it's better to hit one hard than to tickle three or four. Dark Vultures hit one and also with poison, but they have much less health, and regeneration is only good for small losses. So, for me, the choice is made - NECROPHAGES, NECROPHAGES, and NECROPHAGES again:smile12:
The bottom line is that battles of moderate difficulty (strong neutrals, and sometimes even the enemy's army) are completed with MUCH fewer losses, or even without any losses at all:D
That's correct. But only Paoka can be resurrected; others simply die without a chance of being revived. And the percentage of "consumed" health doesn't inspire much optimism – 20%. That is, to resurrect one Paoka normally (when any hero other than Shakarrukat), in other words, 120 health, you need to consume 600 health. And 600 health is 6 Paladins, 60 Archers, 3 Emerald Dragons, 40 Stalkers, etc. In any scenario, many of them will not be resurrected, which is unlikely to change the outcome of the battle, even if only one Paoka remains at the end (although, I agree, it's often better not to risk it, but the Battle of the Day can play a decisive role). Yes, and also by the Paoka's not very high initiative. And by the enemy hero's magical abilities.
