I’ve been ready for a long time. I wrote my will 6 years ago and prepared a general power of attorney. For three years, I tried to finish all my unfinished business every day. I have no debts. Every day could be my last. And very few people can know for sure. It might seem like it was the last day, but then life goes on. "And you and I are going to live together, and who knows – maybe we’ll die tomorrow." – Pushkin wrote this almost 200 years ago. However, life is so good, and you can enjoy it even if it’s not your last day.
That’s the situation.

I apologize, but I will be frank. :-) I couldn't read all the stories in detail.
Stories 6 and 7 seem to have been written by more mature people or those who took the competition more seriously. I can also note story 4; although it is concise, it still has romance and heartfelt appeals. Reading story 6 reminded me of the film "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"; story 7 is well-written, but I didn't like the essence. To be honest, the last days of the participants didn't surprise or impress me very much... I'm a bit puzzled by the fact that almost every last day is spent "sharing" with a beloved woman, "love," etc. But that's not even the point... well, to each their own; it's interesting to know how mature the participants in the competition are. ;-)

I would probably describe the beginning of my last day like this:

"A bright ray of warm sunlight pleasantly fell on my closed eyelids. Something elusive told me that it was time to hurry – I needed to wake up, get up. But I didn't want to at all; I knew that there was no need to rush. I was in a great mood; I had never slept so well before. I felt a surge of strength and energy; I wanted to lift the whole Earth, the entire planet; I wanted to love every little animal, every creature born on it! It seemed as if I had just been born yesterday. It was a wonderful feeling.
Catching the gaze of my beloved, I gave her my best kiss, hugged my wonderful children; I was happy – this was happening to me. After saying goodbye, I went out... we won't see each other today...

I'm voting for #6; I liked some things about it. And it reminded me of a good movie. :-) Perhaps the last day should be spent experiencing something that has held you back all your life, getting new sensations, overcoming your fears, etc. You should have done the rest earlier. In general, I believe that one should die as one is born, free from everything: from love, from hatred, from fear, etc.
