Videos in Heroes of Might and Magic V. Auto-translated

A question for experts: where and in what format are high-resolution video clips stored in the game? (for example, the castle siege in Tribes of the East or Hammers of Fate).

Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East / Main Menu / Settings / Video Recordings

Strictly speaking, there were no actual video cutscenes in the expansions. What you see during missions and in the intervals between them are just ordinary scripts that weigh only a few megabytes, and it is impossible to extract them under any circumstances. If it is so important, you can record them using some program (for example, Fraps, but keep in mind that the free version does not record videos longer than 30 seconds).

I am interested in the cutscenes at the beginning of the game – the battle with the demon in Heroes V, the battle between dwarves and elves (Magic V - Hammers of Fate), and the siege of a castle by orcs (Magic V - Tribes of the East). If these are scripts, how can I remove the text and menus? Then, I could record them with an HD camera – I wanted to use the video as animated desktop wallpaper.

Here, you would need to modify the game's structure, which I'm not very good at... Although, I believe it's possible. The text and menus should be in the game's archives as separate images, and after simply deleting them, they shouldn't be displayed. If you're really interested, take a look ;) I'll also check it out when I have some free time.
