The Cyclops are unattractive (but the un-upgraded monster is a very amusing creature, it's so cute!). Whatever happened to the Wizards? It seems they were reborn into the Green Castle, merging with the Fairy Castle. There are also many types of heroes and various Capitols, which make building up the Castle take longer, but overall, the third game's heroes are good, and this is just my personal opinion. I liked the Conflux Castle and other Castles, but the Knight's Castle lost some of its charm. The Druids were replaced by Monks (the Druids were cooler). It's a pity that the Peasants became neutral units, but the situation demanded it. The Necromancer Castle is good, yes, and in principle, all the Castles in the third game are good, and almost all the units are too (except for those I criticized). I don't like the Dog units; they're kind of weird. The armored dogs are better, and their name, "Marauders," is unpleasant. And the eyes in the Dungeon are painfully evil, but the Troglodytes are fun! The Lizards are cool archers, and the Dragonflies, which live in a hollow, are like Carcassonne on a roof. By the way, it's interesting that the units can cast spells and have their own special abilities. And for the Conflux Castle, it's cool that the units that occupy the towers during a siege are different. The Elemental itself is also amusing, and the battle backgrounds are not bad either. If you think about it rationally, I think most people play the third game because it has a good balance, many Castles, territories, lots of improvements, and the graphics are decent. Also, the entire game system has stood the test of time, as well as the mods (although they don't suit me personally, although sometimes I enjoy them). The fourth game is probably the least successful. But it has a couple of good ideas. The fifth game seems okay too, but I haven't played it much. I didn't really like the Castles; they're beautiful, but they all feel circular. I played the alpha or beta of the fifth game, and the Castle concept itself wasn't bad. But if you don't focus on the Castles, at first, it seems that they are simpler than in the other parts, and the plot is weaker, but as a game, it's quite good. The first game is similar to the second, except for the hero skills, spells, and the number of Castles, but it's worse (by the way, the Castles were very well drawn inside). The combat is also different (it's a funny battle). And it's good for playing quick games with friends in hot seat mode if you need to play quickly; it's perfect for that. It would be interesting to see Heroes of Might and Magic 1000, but I doubt we'll live to see it... not much has been said about the first game here... but after it, many things become clear in terms of plots, biographies, and so on.

In Heroes, there isn't a single part that's better than the third one! Even though the graphics aren't great, the game is already so old! After playing the fifth one, I was simply disappointed in it, and now it's very hard to force myself to play it. It doesn't even come close to being a parody of the third one!

The third game is the best! First of all, it's my first and favorite game in the series, and it's a classic. Secondly, I've been playing for so long, and I still discover something new!

1st and 2nd are classics. I haven't played the 5th one. The 4th one is just not quite right. The best is the 3rd one.

The third part is brilliant. It never gets boring. Absolutely. I'm ready to play the same campaigns over and over again. Playing for any town and any faction is my favorite (with the exception of two or three, but even for them, I play with pleasure). Thank you to the developers at 3DO – they managed to create a simple strategy with nine races, similar gameplay, but with billions of tactical decisions. The third game still causes debates! The third game rules!!

Lots of neutral creatures... Lots of heroes... Lots of maps... As a result, there's endless variety in the game, and the graphics are very appealing; everything is great. :) - Heroes of Might and Magic 4. This is the most controversial installment. On the one hand, they removed hero upgrades and specializations; on the other hand, they added variety with hero mobility and creature selection... Despite the Equilibris expansion, the game remained somewhat buggy. But you know what? I admire Pushkin's work and recognize him as a brilliant poet, but I prefer to read a little booklet called "Memories of Summer," which contains naive poems by girls aged 12-18, with their awkward rhymes, limited vocabulary, and obvious themes. It's the same here. I acknowledge the genius of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, its harmonious factions, and its wonderful 2D graphics, but I still enjoy playing the buggy Heroes of Might and Magic 4 with its similar heroes, cookie-cutter towns, mishmash of creatures, and wild circles of neutral creatures on the map. Simply put, I like Heroes of Might and Magic 4 more, and that's a matter of taste, and as they say, there's no accounting for taste. ;)

Unfortunately, the spirit of the series has been lost, but as a game, Heroes of Might and Magic 5 is still pretty good. :) Recently, I've noticed that I have a preference for the Heroes of Might and Magic games with even numbers. :) I'm waiting for Heroes of Might and Magic 6; I hope the developers come up with something interesting... (if they do). ;)
