In short, HotA is now a global expansion for the SoD engine, adding new, already familiar gameplay elements. Such as - objects on the map, heroes, units, and a city. The project is aimed, among other things, at a multiplayer audience, and the standard random map generator has been improved. The HotA team considers the classic approach (in all senses of the word, when talking about Heroes III) and the quality of content to be paramount - down to the smallest details of graphics, sounds, music, game balance, campaign plot, etc.

The project, according to the developers' idea, continues the original line: RoE - AB - SoD - HotA. This is a hypothetical "expansion that NWC could have released after SoD, if not for Heroes IV." The expansion is fully compatible with HD/HD+ and does not replace SoD files.

Armadillo - a new monster. As for the towns - yes, it's possible.

What is the difference between a bone golem and a skeleton? Are they made of different bones, or just not from a single skeleton? (I'm going to hurt my brain). The Paladin and the Guardians are beautifully drawn. (Poor guy, the Paladin is carrying so much armor on foot). Good luck!

Of course, it's a good idea. Many fans will find it interesting. Just one piece of advice – keep an eye on the balance! Make sure that no new town completely outclasses all the old ones.

The difference is that one is a bone golem, and the other is a skeleton ;)
A golem seems to consist of several skeletons, or something like that.

Just one piece of advice - pay attention to the balance! So that it doesn't happen that some new town overpowers all the old ones.

Moreover, we will revise the balance as a whole and correct the shortcomings of WoG. (because, as you know, many options there are a terrible imbalance)

No. The Cove will simply be actively used in the expansion. Both in the campaign and in the regular game.

Yes, there will be. About 12 new spells. We will tell you what they are later.

The main thing is that these spells should have situations where they can be used more than once a year. ;)

Will it be possible to buy a bone golem in the Castle or only raise it? And will it still be possible to recruit 7 creatures in the Castles?

No. Each Castle will have several additional creatures.

Yes. At least 3.

Specializations – possibly, but we are unlikely to change the skills. They are already quite good (in the options of WOG 3.58f).

That's an amazing idea. You deserve a monument for this, at the very least. But here's what I'd like to ask: are you sure you need a crownwork city? I looked at it, and honestly, in my opinion, it leaves much to be desired, and I think it will simply spoil the overall positive impression. Otherwise, guys, you're simply great; keep up the good work.
