I don't like the demons. Especially the design.

What exactly don't you like about the demons' design, when other factions' designs are fine? I think everything is done well, except perhaps the Cerberuses (they really are drawn rather roughly). The Devil, if you compare him to the demons in Heroes 3, has gotten quite a bit fatter, but he looks impressive and intimidating. :) :)

I agree with Arengar that the visual design is excellent, but the runes are the reason I don't like them, because I think that runic magic in Heroes 5 is quite overpowered. Moreover, it's easier to develop than regular magic, and it requires a small amount of resources to use. On top of that, the Lava Dragon (or Arcat Dragon) is incredibly strong compared to the 7th-level units of other factions, and a whole range of spells don't affect it. With the construction of a special tower in the city, during the siege of a Fortress, the castle is additionally guarded by several hundred (and sometimes thousands) of level 1 gnomes. And there are many other advantages that could be listed. I think the developers went a little too far. I don't think the faction is bad, but I think many will agree that it's overpowered.

It all depends on personal preference; I can play as any faction, they are all good:smile54:.

Why use mage artifacts on creatures from other races? It's the same as how rage only affects orcs, or how opening a portal only affects demons, and also how a knight's troop upgrade only affects humans, etc.

I don't like Humans; they don't have any special units besides angels, and their magic is weak. Humans are a weak faction!

One thing is clearly impossible for them - summoning demons or resurrecting after battle, but using artifacts (even though they have slots for them) is a different matter. After all, heroes of any faction can use artifacts.
By the way, can the Knight's Counterstrike skill or the Ranger's Avenger skill affect them? (I'm talking about creatures from other factions)

I haven't fully figured it out yet, but generally, I like all the factions, and I don't think mages are that weak – I've always liked Titans as an addition to dragons; although, of course, I prefer Necropolis.

Didn't anyone say that mages are weak? Especially on resource-rich maps. I personally struggle the most when playing as demons. I can't quickly clear out neutral creatures without taking losses. Also, they need to conserve their level 1 units for the endgame. But if you create a map where the paths to the enemy territory are guarded by around a hundred level 7 units, then the demons on that map will have time to catch up in the early game.

And for me, the least favorite race is the mages. They will be weak against humans and orcs....

In my opinion, it all depends on the map. IMHO, you can create a map for any faction where it will either dominate or at least not be inferior to others. And vice versa, you can create a map for any faction where it will be easily defeated. Humans and Necropolis are no exception. Therefore, I don't have any favorite or least favorite factions.

I don't like mages, and gnomes don't appeal to me as a race – there's nothing interesting about them!

There's no need to bash the Warlocks! What makes you think they're so bad? Maybe you just don't know how to play them properly? For example, I don't enjoy playing as the Sylvan faction, but I don't think they're terrible because they also have their advantages, just like all the other factions. The key is to know how to use them cleverly!

I don't like mages. They're kind of weak: their "titans" don't even resemble real titans, and gargoyles and djinns are just generally unclear what they are. Only golems and rakshasas are worth mentioning. Even magic can't fully compensate for the weakness of the units. P.S. Sorry, mage fans, if I offended you. P.P.S. Sector Gaza, everyone understands that morale doesn't affect undead, but you're still alive, and your morale is negative. So, if you express your opinion, back it up with objective arguments. And messages like "Warlocks are garbage" = spam.
