I disagree. The referee officiated at a good level and, most importantly, consistently, except for one episode (which is my only complaint about the referee), when in the second half, in the center of the field, they ignored the foul on Tymoshchuk – a free kick and a yellow card.
The penalty was 100% correct, and the complaints should be directed not at the referee and not even at the player who committed the foul, but at the pair of center-backs, who in this match messed up for the next two games.
