My situation is quite simple – I needed to change my nickname because I was tired of the old one. So, I first came up with the idea of a wolf, as I like this animal. Then, I tried different words to go with it, but nothing seemed right. At that time, I was very interested in Norse mythology, and a song by the band Butterfly Temple called "Wolves of Odin" started playing in my headphones. That's when the first word came to me. Valhalla, in Norse mythology, is like Olympus in Greek mythology; it's where the gods lived, and where the souls of true warriors were sent.

My nickname has a long history, dating back to the 1970s. Basically, that's what they called me when I was a kid.

I was thinking for a long time about what name to use for my Bluetooth profile (on my phone). L@R$$ON.... Thanks to my beloved classmates!!! They just couldn't call me by my last name (Larin) :D They called me Larsson, with the emphasis on O... That's how I got a Jewish-sounding last name. :D Although I have nothing in common with Jews :) But I liked it... And I added @ and $$ myself (because I love dogs and money!!! :D) I've been L@R$$ON for 8 years now. But I have nothing against L@R$$ON either :D
