Arguing about its quality and trying to prove something to someone is pointless, in my opinion. If there are fans, then everything is great.
Conversely, if a game is made carelessly, just for the sake of it, or if there is a lack of funds, then nothing good will come of it. This game is unlikely to gain fans, even if it belongs to their favorite genre.

Very often, the final nail in the coffin is hammered in by the localization team. There's no point in creating a good localization for a game that no one will play...
It's even worse if this applies to really good games. I remember it from my own experience. I borrowed a pirated copy of HoMM 4 from someone. (There was a dark period in my life, and I didn't have my own copy :D). When I launched it, it crashed. The pirates probably didn't bother with the translation and just used an automatic translator. :D As a result, the word "Back" on the button was translated as "spine." I don't remember other mistakes, but there were many. I have no words!!!

History knows a huge number of such "software mishaps." I won't list them, but I am familiar with some of them. Not because I bought them foolishly, but simply because I got into the habit of reading periodicals that I trust, where reviews of such "games" sometimes appear. In conclusion, I can't name "5 worst" games. I can't guarantee that they will be the worst :D.
