As for WOG, I disagree. How exactly do you plan to track who played on WOG and who played on The Shadow of Death? These games have completely different concepts and resulting walkthrough tactics. I would advise you to think very carefully about this so that there are no misunderstandings later
TE is not WOG!!! Playing on WOG in Tournaments is unacceptable!
And it's tracked very simply. Even without special programs!
TE will complain that the save is the wrong version.
Playing on SOD with a save made in TE was little different from playing on TE, since I disabled almost all the new features in the settings. The recommended (and sometimes only possible — as in the last round of Tournament 1) game version will still be TE. SOD will be allowed where possible; however, as is easy to see, it is not advantageous to play on it.
So, when exactly are we going to start?
Or, at the very least, 2, and preferably 3 tournaments should be held with the same map but on different versions of the game. This would be more convenient and clearer for you.
However, the transition of all tournaments on all resources to TE is likely inevitable. And what was done in the first tournament was done with the aim of encouraging players to play on TE!
A compromise is only possible in the form it was in the second round: disabling monster upgrades and some classes. It would also have been worth disabling hero specialists in monsters, but that was for that particular map... there was a lot of money involved.

If a save is made for TE, it will be the same in SOD, both regarding magic and heroes. Even in WOG it would be almost the same, but playing on it is forbidden regardless. Previously, you could load a save into another version, use the advantages, and then switch back. Such a cheat method was used and even went unnoticed... But in TE, it's elementary to track!
TE has advantages over SOD, but not vice versa! This means if you're too lazy to download it — that's your own fault!!! That's the whole problem.
TE has advantages over SOD, but not the other way around! So, if you're too lazy to download it, that's your problem! That's the whole issue.
Well, firstly, it's not laziness, but a reluctance to spend money (because downloading takes time),
and secondly, please explain to me what the differences are. And if TE is really better for objective reasons, then I can consider downloading it.

TE downloads in 5 minutes! You can download it here:

The TE manual is also available there.
It's obvious that TE has better balance and is richer in terms of gameplay.
The only drawback is that it can only
P.S. When will the new season start?
I followed all the instructions, but it says that a certain file is broken and won't install. What should I do?
Try renaming the .wog file to .rar and opening it as a regular archive. If it opens, you can manually copy its contents, preserving the paths (i.e., what's in the archive in the \Data folder, copy it to the corresponding folder in Heroes, etc.). However, before copying, you need to delete all the contents of the \Data\s folder (or move it to another location); only T-script files should remain, otherwise, they will conflict with WoG's scripts.
The first annual offline tournament - “Best of the best”.

I really hope that this tournament will be held on a licensed version of the game, for example, on "Platinum from Buka".
Yes, on The Shadow of Death, version 3.2.
