Or, at the very least, 2, and preferably 3 tournaments should be held with the same map but on different versions of the game. This would be more convenient and clearer for you.
However, the transition of all tournaments on all resources to TE is likely inevitable. And what was done in the first tournament was done with the aim of encouraging players to play on TE!
A compromise is only possible in the form it was in the second round: disabling monster upgrades and some classes. It would also have been worth disabling hero specialists in monsters, but that was for that particular map... there was a lot of money involved.
