Posts from Ideas for increasing the popularity of Heroes of Might and Magic.
hehe)) in that case, the Capital should remain on this land.... in general, it would be good to give names to all the lands... each clan could give names to its territories.
P.S. a separate topic wouldn't hurt... but we need a moderator who would move the posts where they need to be... although, we need to create this "where" first)... it should be created either by the person who started this topic or by a moderator, so that the first post is appropriate) IMHO.
Who said we'd do things like on HeroesPortal? I think we have enough imagination to come up with something of our own.
Actually, the idea came from there... ;).. with the map of the lands... so, guys, let's not make it like HeroesPortal, okay???... let's drop the idea of the map of the lands... although it's well done, I won't argue...
I liked the idea with artifacts more... !! I think it will be more fun, more original, and more interesting. And we've already discussed the map idea for a long time...
Or we'll come up with something alternative and original!!!
because the idea actually came from there... with a map of the lands... so, guys, let's not make HeroesPortal a copycat, okay???
Well, then let's give up on avatars and PMs because they are also used on HeroesPortal! If one car brand releases a car with 4 wheels, does that mean that if another brand releases a car with 4 wheels, it will be copying the first car manufacturer? Or, if our neighbor bought bread today, should we not buy any and starve?
If each faction has an artifact, and another faction conquers it, what will happen? We will be without the relic... Or should we come up with several parts that make up a complete artifact, or break it into pieces... and how many pieces will there be? ... No, that seems a bit dry... Are there any other ideas besides maps and artifacts? I was sitting here, thinking, and nothing comes to mind:(

If each clan has an artifact, and another clan conquers it
it's easily countered because to reclaim your relic, you can deploy any of your players and choose any player from the clan that holds your relic as your opponent (imagine how quickly they'll start getting rid of dead players :D)
We'll be without a relic... Or should we come up with several parts that make up a complete artifact?
yes, it's possible that initially there will be several sets that are divided among the clans
by collecting a set, you get a bonus (wouldn't it be interesting to come up with some interesting artifact that gives a bonus on the forum? if not, then with such a dull imagination, there's nothing to suggest on the forum :))
This needs to be coordinated with the Creator, and as someone said, he has a lot on his plate...
No, not those kinds of bonuses :)
But something simple (without interfering with the forum engine).
Added 3 minutes later For example, the ability to claim art more often than once a month. Or, I wrote about being able to choose any player from the clan (if you want to return the original art). So, after collecting some art, you could remove one of your players.
Any ideas are welcome, as long as they don't create an imbalance.
Added 1 minute later Of course, a group of people would be needed to oversee all of this (as is the case with the map).
Hmm... And what's the bonus? At least approximately. Personally, nothing comes to mind. An art piece that adds +10 KB to the avatar size? Or an art piece that adds +100 characters to the signature? :) I'm just kidding, of course.
But in general, I would prefer each clan to have several relics initially. But later, they will naturally be passed from clan to clan as a result of clan wars. Just 1 seems too little, IMHO. And in that case, the idea with artifacts would functionally not differ much from the idea with territories. Theoretically, you could create a set for each clan (as already mentioned), but distribute the artifacts randomly, and one of the main goals of the clans would be to collect their own set. Although, that might be too much. But still. Each year, the results will be summarized. Which clans managed to collect a set, which clans have the most artifacts in general, and so on. And to prevent someone from trying to collect someone else's set, one artifact from their own set must never be lost under any circumstances.
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
And what kind of bonus would it be?))) Should we create a new topic?)) The art should provide some kind of bonus for the clan, but what kind of bonus can it give on the forum?)) I can't quite figure it out)) But of course, the idea of artifacts is interesting, as is the idea of lands, although here it really does resemble Heroes Portal.. We could also suggest awarding creatures or units in inter-clan wars. Remember the quote: "You didn't lose a cow, did you?", but what if that cow was very valuable, then losing it would be very upsetting, and winning it would be very desirable and beneficial)) Each creature or unit in the clan's army gives some kind of bonus to the clan! The more units, the more bonuses! Thus, you gather an army of diverse creatures, and they will be like trump cards in battles.. In principle, this is the same as artifacts... but it can be expanded upon.. But in general, this is just an idea, so... :)
"Как это странно всегда.. Вроде бы взрослые люди, А в голове ерунда.. Мечтаем как дети о чуде.."
it could be done like this... each faction would initially have several territories (maybe with lords leading each one), and each territory could be given a relic (or an artifact from the set)... they cannot be moved from this area, only captured along with the land.
or instead of this, you could make bonus lands... i.e., this land gives a bonus to something... in the mountains, one bonus, in the forests, another, etc.... although this would be more difficult.
Each Clan should initially have a few relics. But later, they will naturally be passed from one Clan to another as a result of Clan Wars. However, one relic is too few, in my opinion. In this case, the functionality of the artifact idea would hardly differ from the territory idea. Theoretically, you could create a set for each Clan (as has already been suggested), but if the artifacts are distributed randomly, one of the main goals of the Clans will be to collect their own set. Although, that might be too much. But still, each year, the results will be summarized: which Clans managed to collect a set, which Clans have the most artifacts in general, etc. And to prevent someone from trying to collect someone else's set, one artifact from their own set must never be lost under any circumstances.
Yes, practically everything is correct. It's not necessary to have one artifact per Clan; you could have one relic that each Clan creates, and parts of several sets – neutral ones – distributed randomly.
But I don't see the point in having an artifact that cannot be taken; I already wrote that the conditions for capturing it should be very easy.
It's even hard to imagine the situation at the moment when the strongest player of one Clan can lose to the weakest player of another Clan. What kind of Clan would that be?
By the way, Clans don't participate in such Clan Wars analytically; something else, an alternative, can be devised for them
