Try installing WOG again and then applying the Russian language pack. I installed it, and everything worked fine for me. Maybe you didn't put all the files in the "update" folder, admit it! Download it from here: http://www.heroesworld.ru/files/data/407/414/43/rubeta358f.zip Extract all 3 files into the "update" or "installwog" folder and run the program with the same name in the root directory of the game.

Yesterday, I simply uninstalled and reinstalled everything from scratch, i.e., first the update, and then the language pack – everything works perfectly now, and it's all in Russian.
It seems that the updates revert to the old language pack, and since the Russian language pack was already installed, the game doesn't consider it necessary to reinstall it.
Just copy your save files and the settings file beforehand (if necessary)!

During gameplay, I encountered the following problem: when purchasing war machines (ballistae, tents, wagons, and catapults), the text "String was not found" appears. I tried to go through them one by one (to figure it out by trial and error), but I don't understand anything.
It seems that there are simply no scripts for this. Has anyone else encountered this?

Here's the question: I downloaded WoG from a torrent – it's 700 MB – and it includes the Blade campaigns. I also downloaded the latest script update and the Russian language pack... everything works great, but the campaigns themselves are in English. Is there any way to translate them into Russian?

No. But if you have a good command of English or a good translator, then it is possible in principle. Otherwise, unfortunately, there is no other way.

I disagree. I have campaigns in Russian.

I don't know, I haven't played WoG in Erathia... But if you really want to, just ignore the storyline and play! :)
