Master Chief is fighting not only against the Covenant but also against the Flood, which was frozen deep within the Halo ring and accidentally awakened by the Covenant and humans. Presumably, the Flood was responsible for the demise of the Forerunners - an ancient race that seems very similar to humans. They built all these Halo installations. At the moment when almost the entire Forerunner race was destroyed by the Flood, the rings were activated, which destroyed all life in the area. But the High Hierarchs of the Covenant, the so-called Prophets, use the rings as a key to great purification and salvation, and they call the Covenant (an agreement that includes six alien races) the sword in the hand of the true god. Their god, Halo, this ring-shaped structure. But, well, I've already rambled and gone off-topic. In short, Master Chief is a fighter against the Flood and the hope of the forum - Alan. :)

Alan! He has done a lot for the forum, and even though he has stepped down as coordinator, the forum is still his home, and he can't just ignore the next wave of spam, nonsense, or duplicate threads! Without him, there is much less order on the forum... many times less! Which is very upsetting. So he really is a pillar and a hope for our forum! And also, consider one thing: are we also to blame for him getting tired of the spam? Maybe we should take serious topics a little more seriously? There is a spam section where you can chat, have fun, and spam! Let's not pollute the Heroes-related topics with spam! And I advise the moderators to do their job better! Then people like Alan won't leave, tired of watching all this chaos... It probably didn't turn out the way you wanted to hear. But since everyone is so sorry that Alan left, let's make sure he comes back, and that no one else leaves us. Because he is really missed by all of us, by our forum... :(

I'm voting for Luchik. Just the fact that he organizes tournaments for Heroes of Might and Magic IV is worth a lot. He has many achievements related to the forum, and it's impossible to list them all.

Today we are gathered here to award the heroes of war who bear the heavy burden of maintaining peace on Earth... *A lot of time passes, half the hall is asleep, some are drinking or playing, and from the back occasional loud slaps on the table and joyful cries of "FIIIIISH!!" are heard — looks like the hardcore admin domino players have shown up*.... and now I will solemnly unseal this secret container! *Suddenly, breaching the roof, a drop pod crashes into the hall; stormtroopers approach from all sides; the soft crackle of needler bursts and SMG fire is heard everywhere... Master Chief jumps out of the pod*
Master Chief: Intelligence leak, I repeat, intelligence leak, full termination clearance, the secret container must be secured!!

Master Chief: So, what's this leak about... ah, an envelope....
Me: In the name of the Emperor and the Holy Inquisition, this envelope should be opened by me!
Master Chief: Shush, when there's a Forum Inquisitor nomination, then you can spout Warhammer lines, but right now we have a Halo 3 dictatorship.
Me: *Humiliatingly realizing I only played the first Halo* Halo sucks, COD4 is an FPS masterpiece!
Master Chief: *Pulls out SMG*
Me: Got me, you smooth talker, Halo is better....
Master Chief: And what leak do we have in this envelope *tears it open.... WHAT?!? Alan the Forum Master Chief?!?! And this is called a leak?????? everyone already knows that!!!!!!! What kind of day is this today??...*walks off upset, casually shooting someone’s head off*

Well, that about sums it up without comments. It seems to me Alan cares about the forum more than it does *points finger upward*, in short, everyone already knows Alan perfectly well.
So let’s just say thank you to him.



Now on to the next nomination!! At first I thought about having a different one, but the influx of interesting new users to the forum made me change my mind, so the next nomination is "Tough Newbie". By "newbie" I mean someone with fewer than 70 posts or/and a recent registration date.
I thought for quite a while about who to vote for; there were 6 candidates, and in the end two remained: Psionic and TonyMontana. At first I wanted to give it to Psionic — a very sensible guy, serious, plays well, and just writes interestingly and well — but judging by the registration date and behavior, he’s only a newbie on HeroesWorld, otherwise he’s clearly a hardcore veteran. So I’m giving my vote to TonyMontana. At first he seemed like a regular spammer, just padding his post count, so I told him something like "Tony, stop writing one-liner posts." I didn’t really expect any effect, but I was quite surprised when his next posts were perfectly normal in length, with a complete thought, and he later said in private messages that he’d try to write more fully and not spam. I was even stunned — first time I’ve seen someone who respectfully accepts criticism from others and, on top of that, when he turned off the spam posts, there were quite smart and interesting thoughts in them. They might not be original, but if he keeps it up, he’ll turn into a pretty hardcore Heroes player.

Psionic, all his posts are well-thought-out, and everything is supported by examples. He reasons soundly, and so on. This is my choice.

I'm voting for Alu because I really don't know who else to vote for.

Siverfale. This person is very knowledgeable – they don't engage in pointless chatter, can tell a joke, and are serious when necessary...
