I understand K0Lb@zzeR's idea, and I agree with him. Just imagine: 7 campaigns - 36 stages!!! Not every organizer will have the patience to bring all of this to completion. Given the current timeframe for official tournaments, it will take three years!!! You could, of course, shorten it to one, but the optimal solution would be to play one campaign that wins the poll.

Now, imagine you.

If there is a tournament for only one campaign, I am 100% sure how to take 1st place! Because I know how to achieve the absolutely best result on the first map of any campaign! What do you think, if they make save #2 from my save, what place will I take?:)

VDV, think about it realistically, how can you run 36 stages within a single tournament?

So, VDV_forever, are you suggesting playing all 36 scenarios? It might be difficult for the organizer, but as for the single-player campaign, you could, for example, find save files online or entrust the playthrough to someone else, and then use those to create starting save files. Alternatively, you could break down the campaign into parts and adapt it for an official tournament. In any case, the final decision rests with the organizer.

I've been thinking about this for 2 months now, and I'm gradually coming to the conclusion that all scenarios need to be played. Each map is like a mini-tournament lasting 2 weeks:smile16:.
With any other approach, the result is obvious, unfortunately...

As the organizer, I initially thought the same as VDV_forever, but the question isn't whether I can organize it or not (the answer is: I can), but rather... who will participate in such a long tournament. I just don't want the number of participants to dwindle to almost nothing by the end. It would be a shame to spend so much time and effort on this global tournament, only for it to lead to nothing in the end. If at least 10-15 people want to participate in a tournament covering all campaigns and try to stay in the tournament for all 36 stages, then I will gladly run this tournament. I have enough time and energy; the main thing is that it doesn't turn out to be a waste of time and effort.

Undoubtedly, taking first place on the first map of the campaign will give you an advantage (as the leader) in the second map, but you don't know what bonuses I will choose, and I also have a method for generating save #2 from the leader's save. That's why I called this tournament "The Race for the Leader." And believe me, there will be surprises in this tournament, and when necessary, I can even throw a wrench in the works to hold back the leader.

I would like to inform you that it has been decided to organize a large-scale tournament for all 7 campaigns; you can register for the tournament here. The tournament can be considered to have started since the starting save and map (for reconnaissance) have been uploaded. The "Birth of a Barbarian" company is the best! Although I never liked playing as Barbarians!

I'm a complete idiot; I didn't notice the word "not" and voted for the same campaigns, both the ones I liked and the ones I didn't like.

And the second place goes to the Unholy Alliance.

I don't know about you, but I liked them all. It's a shame that "The Ghost of Power" is very short.

I liked the Necromancer's Ascent and Phantom of the Throne the most, although the fact that Necromancer's Ascent is a rather easy campaign...

Of course, with such artifacts, there's nothing left to do but win. But the unholy alliance – that's a different story. I wonder what everyone thought of Yog when they were putting together the alliance of angels that he had dismantled.

I didn't like the "Elixir of Life" campaign – it's quite simple... and I generally don't like missions with Jellu.

Yeah, if you survive the first 2 weeks of the first mission (when Jeddite attacks you), the rest of the campaign is a piece of cake.

Jelu's campaign is easy.
Gem's campaign – the first 2 missions are a bit tough, but then it's easy.
Kreg Hex – mission 2 (one Citadel castle against 3 "Castle" castles) is difficult, the rest are easy.
Yog's campaign – only the last mission is difficult, and if your hero isn't well-leveled (must-have: diplomacy + resistance).

Unclean Alliance – only the first mission of Yog is difficult.

All the campaigns are interesting in principle, but out of all the missions, there are no more than 5 that are truly difficult. It would be great if there were more challenging ones! :-)
