Is it really possible to defeat a good player playing as Nimue? :confused: :confused: :confused:

It's quite possible. Here's an example: I might not be playing very well, but I played against an opponent who was much weaker than me in version 1.6. We played about 9 games, and I won about seven of them. We chose heroes randomly, and both of us got Nimues. In general, each of us had fourteen units (due to summoning), a big battle ensued, and he was left with just a few units. Then, this clever player simply eliminated my succubus, which was the only unsummoned unit I had left.
Of course, this was mostly my own stupidity, but the conditions were equal, and I was playing better.

You can try countering Ossira with Synithar. Eliminating the archers means grouping your troops tightly; a powerful meteor shower will kill at least half of each stack, and if you're lucky, I think Ossira will be defeated.

As Whirlwind said, you can use Synitar. You can also use Iris, Anwen, Vittorio, Carli, and Helmar. There are plenty of options;)

You can defeat anyone with Ossirom, including Nimues! I couldn't figure out how to beat a player using Nimues, but I really liked the idea with Sinithar! Thanks, Major Whirlwind, for the tip!

I think it's quite possible. 1) Take Ossir and block the archers. Direct all the attack towards the main troops (don't touch the summoned ones). 2) Take Synitar and easily defeat all the demons with METEOR in 10 minutes. 3) Take Irina (Iris) and eliminate the main troops. 4) Take Orson with TONS of decaying mass, called undead, and easily defeat Nimue. ------ ALWAYS ATTACK ONLY THE MAIN DEMON TROOPS. DON'T TOUCH THE SECONDARY ONES.

M@)(iM, Irina (Iris) is simply perfect against Ossir. She's just an anti-archer. :)

I easily defeat Oroy Nimues, and I haven't lost to her even once, not just on anniversaries. Also, Anwen can defeat Nimues if you know how to play her correctly. Ossir loses to Letos (but not always), and even Ibba can win against him.

Warmonger, the game is based on balance. And there is no perfect hero in duels. For example: Ossir is good against Orson, but VERY bad against Irina (Iris), and she, in turn, loses to Orson.

I'm not saying that Ora is a perfect hero; I'm saying that she beats Nimues, but loses to Orson, Deidre, Ibbe, and Letos (maybe others, I haven't checked).

It's not entirely clear why the discussion about Nimue's overpoweredness is in this section, as she's only overpowered in 3.0, and in 2.1, she's almost the biggest loser. Nimue consistently rushes with the Hive (protect your golems – they are your main potential; send tomb guards to multiply damage – and that's it). Anwen rushes if you cast Fire Trap on her arrow (this is the end for phantom creatures), and considering that Nimue's army is far from being a ranged one, and given how many sworn enemies Anwen has, with skilled play, this duel is won 90% of the time. Ossir can also defeat her under certain conditions. Ossir... What about Ossir? If he's in the hands of a decent player, Iris won't defeat him (as an example, my game against Bloomer, and I think we're not the weakest players – the Iris vs. Ossir duel is in the replays thread, with Ossir winning). But Ossir is easily defeated by Leto (the main thing is not to forget that Leto has a teleport to his hunters (one stack of archers is easily defeated) and vampirism on the witches), and he also poisons her at the beginning. Another option is Helmar. Due to his built-in evasion, he also has a chance, although with the new archers, his chances have noticeably decreased. So, Ossir is far from being overpowered. But Vittorio tears him to pieces with his overall dispel! In turn, Leto is easily defeated by Anwen. The list can go on and on. But for me, there's only one overpowered hero – Karl, with skillful rune play, he's simply unbearable (check out what a pun I came up with!)

If a player uses Nimus's ability – the latest gate-opening discovery, when demons open the portal – I think it will be impossible to win! There will be 6 Pit Lords at once!
