I can say only two words about myself. In medical college, I participated in darts competitions (I hope everyone knows what that is)

That's all my sporting past)) I loved skiing, but I didn't do it seriously, just like swimming and volleyball... ))
I love biathlon the most, followed by football, bobsleigh, hockey, skiing, swimming, and figure skating... Maybe I forgot something)))

Nikolay Kruglov took 2nd place, and we all congratulate him!

"Today, January 18, the sprint race over 10 km among men ended as part of the World Cup in Antholz (Italy). First place was won by German athlete Michael Greis (25:05.4), second place went to Russian athlete Nikolay Kruglov (+3.4), and third place went to Ole Einar Bjoerndalen (+6.4), a biathlete from Norway.

The other Russian athletes took the following places: 8th place - Cherezov Ivan (+42.0), 12th place - Chudov Maxim (+53.2), Yaroshenko Dmitry finished in 19th position (+1:06:03)."

Airborne troops, biathlon – it’s not just an interesting sport, captivating with its unpredictability and “wind speed” :), but it’s a real sport where our guys can and periodically show their strength to the Norwegians and Germans :), and the girls sometimes amaze with their achievements and results...! :) I really enjoy watching the action!

Congratulations to our young star, Svetlana Sleptsova, who took 2nd place in today's pursuit race!

It's a pity that Svetlana didn't have the nerves to overcome the excitement on the last lap; if it weren't for those 2 misses, she could have easily competed for 1st place.

Regarding yesterday's 3rd place (her interview with the Sport channel):

"An unpleasant incident occurred on the last climb," Sleptsova said live on the Sport channel. "I started to overtake the Frenchwoman, but she unexpectedly knocked my pole away. Yeah, Svetlana was leading during one of the stages; she was unmatched in the prone shooting position, which helped her take the lead (albeit temporarily). Of course, it's a pity, but her competitors are very worthy contenders. But we shouldn't doubt our girls prematurely, because they are considered among the strongest on the planet in biathlon...

We hope that next time, our girls will take the first three places :), as they did before, remember the Airborne Forces? :)

There’s one more athlete on the forum – that’s me! I played football from 1st to 8th grade. But then I didn’t have enough time, and I ended my football career. Sometimes I play in the yard and for the school. I’ve been playing volleyball since 8th grade, and now I play for the school. I used to do cross-country skiing, but since I smoke, I couldn’t keep it up for long. I run and swim well. I also represented the school in air rifle shooting. I go fishing (if you can call that a sport). That’s all!

Well, today I finally managed to watch the men's pursuit race! Unfortunately, I missed the women's race, trying to fix my stubborn TV... It simply refused to broadcast sports... And I managed to tune it just when Svetlana was approaching the final shooting... And she missed twice... It's a pity... But still, she did well)))

I remember that in one mass start, he came in fifth, overtaking 7 people on the last stretch. And as for the women, Bailey and the Germans are very strong. And since I missed the last stage, what place did Chudov finish in, and how many misses did he have?

In school, I took 2nd place in the Southern District Run (Moscow).

My dad made me try skiing when I was 3... around age 13, when I stopped crawling along the ski track and had enough strength to skate, I really started to love it :p !!!

In the summer, I ride my bike, and in the winter, I go ice skating (I'm going soon).
I also wouldn't refuse a game of tennis (I used to play).

Among the Russians, Maxim Chudov took 4th place, determined by a photo finish in a battle with Greis. He made 3 misses. The mass start turned out to be very interesting, to say the least, but Guberniev annoyed everyone with his rumors. Kondrashev and Popov provide much more interesting commentary.

Yeah, the photo finish in biathlon is a sight you don't see often... it's impressive with its intense competition between the two rivals. Chudov is a real star! He was so close, it's almost a pity, but still, 4th place isn't 30th :D. Yaroshenko managed to get into the top 10, which I can congratulate him on!

Yes, the men's mass start was very spectacular! And while no one doubted Ole Einar's victory, Ferry, quietly riding somewhere in the back, suddenly burst into 2nd place! But of course, we were all interested in the Russians... Maxim was doing great until the last shooting range... He was fast, powerful... but as often happens with him, he "messed up" - he rushed and ended up with 2 misses! And 300 extra meters is no joke... As a result, we are grabbing our heads, there are already several serious competitors ahead of him for 3rd place... But the Russian faith in a MIRACLE doesn't let hope die! And this miracle is our Russian rocket, as Maxim is called! And his last name is very fitting! We believe in him, no matter what... And now he is already overtaking the German... Our hearts are pounding in anticipation, in hope... Just hold on, Maxim, there's just a little left... Meanwhile, Greis is hanging back behind Chudov, thereby saving his strength for the final sprint. Maxim is trying his best, with his last breath, but it's hard for him: the extra 300 meters are making themselves felt... But he made it, he held on, he finished... And here's the photo finish... And we all see that the German overtook Maxim by just a ski boot... He was just the first to put his foot out... But still, what a fight the Russian showed us, what a will to win, what strength of spirit, how much adrenaline he added to the spectators! And for that, a big thank you to Maxim - he proved that Russians don't give up, no matter what happens, they fight to the end... he is a real man! And his 4th place is certainly disappointing, but it is much more valuable than Michael Greis's bronze, which Maxim deserves much more! He was just a little unlucky... And again, Maxim needs to work on his shooting... If he improves his shooting, then Maxim will be able to really compete for 1st place with Ole Einar himself, although he can do it even now! And nevertheless: Maxim, thank you for this race, for your fight - you are a real Russian MIRACLE, in the best sense of the word! Well, rest, train your shooting, and show everyone at the World Championship that we can do much more! Dmitry Yaroshenko performed well... He had real chances on the last lap, but he missed the last shot at the shooting range: he rushed... he was already thinking about chasing the leaders... If it hadn't been for that, the finish would have been even more spectacular! But as we all know, sport has no subjunctive mood! So, let's summarize the men's race: 1. Bjoerndalen 2. Ferry 3. Greis 4. CHUDOV 10. YAROSHENKO 16. MAKOVEEV 17. KRUGLOV 18. CHURIN 19. CHEREZOV Well, our biathletes have a rest ahead of them, which they have been waiting for and which they deserve... and a new race! Ahead of us is the World Championship, which will be held from February 9 to 17 in the Swedish town of Oestersund! Russia forward! We believe in you, Russian team!
