During battle, you should focus on planning your battle strategy, not just listening to music. Otherwise, you'll get caught off guard and your army will be defeated. That's how it is!

In my opinion, the soundtrack in the third installment of Heroes of Might and Magic is the most enjoyable. I agree with the opinion that the music from the Stronghold is a masterpiece. In general, this is my favorite track in the third game. In the fifth game, the soundtrack didn't seem as good to me, but it's much more diverse and there are some really interesting compositions. That's why I also chose the fifth game in the poll. But there is one caveat. The music in the campaign for Agrael (as Arandor rightly pointed out) is terrible, and your hand instinctively reaches out to turn down the volume... or even turn it off. This sometimes happens in games; in the fifth part of Heroes, I didn't notice any other "unpleasant" tracks.

All that remains is to hold a vote for the composition. No, for the composition in the Castles. I would then vote for Fortress (Swamp). The Stronghold is good. The Castle is also not bad.
Dracon mallasa, I disagree. Music adds to the feeling of the game and enjoyment. I can't really play so enthusiastically without music.

These are Heroes, after all; no matter what the music is like, it can't be bad!!! There are only people who haven't played any part of the series.
A true fan of the series likes everything. I'm not a fan, of course (don't make an idol out of yourself :)), but I also like the music from all the games. And it's even hard to choose which one is the best.

I really like the music in all the games, even the simple chiptune in the first ones (and who said it's just a chiptune? It has an amazing melody!). It's just great... It fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the castles and the game... Basically, if I'm playing on my laptop in windowed mode, I only leave the sound effects on, turn the music down to zero, and play my favorite ABBA playlist (yes, yes, I know it's the most modern, trendy, and stylish band, but I like it, let's not argue about tastes ;) ). So that's how I play all the parts, except for the fifth one (it's not on my laptop :( ). But in general, I also really love the original music and I don't refuse to listen to it in full-screen mode :)

In short - all parts of Heroes have organic and beautiful melodies, and you can throw stones at me if you don't think so!!! :)

No, the fourth installment of Heroes is utterly repulsive to me in every way. Even the music. I can't stand it.

Thirdly, the music is great and atmospheric... But I like the music in the fifth game the most, especially in the castles of Haven and Sylvan. Every time, I don't even want to leave the castle.
