I've already sent the save file. There's no time left to improve it. I'm going back to work the day after tomorrow, and I have a lot of other things to do.

I'll still give it a try. Although, the 22-day limit didn't appeal to me. I couldn't come up with any sensible strategy; all I could do was run around and grab as much as possible, but it feels wrong to waste the time spent on exploration.

I sent the save file. And in the end, I actually liked the time limit. Basically, from the very first day, it presents you with a tough choice: what to do!

That's enough. Registration on the forum is for those who want to participate in discussions about the tournament, etc. And there is no tournament registration on HL, just send the save file to the specified email address. :-)

Regarding the extension. As for "it's difficult to agree" - there's nothing difficult about it. As for the extension itself - it's not a good idea, because the tournament is a fair competition, where the component of victory is not only the ability to skillfully analyze the save, see and implement a strategy, but also the ability to allocate one's personal time for it. But still, an extension can be considered in exceptional cases, for example, if many people don't have enough time because they had too much fun during the holidays and ended up not playing Heroes, and as a result, the tournament will suffer greatly from this. ;-) Personally, I haven't even looked at the save yet, although it contains the final of the League Championship against a very strong opponent, and I need to defend my title, but I am one of those who had a very good and varied rest during the holidays... Well, now it's time to pay the price. ;-)

And indeed... I'm just getting into the rhythm of life, and then two mega-tournaments pop up, plus another one in stages. I think many won't have time, or maybe they'll manage "in a hurry," which doesn't necessarily mean it will be better.

Colleagues, I am announcing the preliminary schedule.
1. January 15, 2008, 23:59 - the final deadline for submitting save files.
2. January 16, 2008 - an analysis of the map by the creator of the assignment will be posted in the School of Basic Skills for the second heroes (exclusively for participants of the School).
3. January 17, 2008 - most participants will receive most of the Arenas.
4. January 17, 2008 - the host will post the parameters of the heroes and armies of all participants in the tournament in this thread.
5. January 22, 2008, 23:59 - the final deadline for submitting verdicts on the Arenas.
6. January 23, 2008 - preliminary results will be summarized.
7. January 28, 2008, 12:00 - the final deadline for disputing the tournament results.
8. January 31, 2008 - final results will be summarized.
