After the first stage of the game, a dueling map – an “arena” – is created, and the player’s hero, along with identical troops from the saved game, their arrangement, primary and secondary skills, luck and morale modifiers, mana, and artifacts, is transferred to it. On the arena, each hero will fight every other hero, twice each: they attack in turn. All participants who reach the finish line will be sent “arenas” featuring their heroes. Seven days after the arenas are sent, each player can send a reply with their verdict on the results.
The final decision on the arena results is made by the tournament judge.

Why can't the opponent be controlled by the computer? (in the arena)

1. Criteria for evaluating arenas.
There are four possible options for players' verdicts on an arena:
1) The opinions of both participants coincide;
2) The opinions of the participants do not coincide;
3) One of the participants did not send a verdict;
4) Neither participant sent a verdict.

Based on these situations, the judge:
1) in the case of an identical verdict from the players, with a probability of over 95%, will agree with their decision;
2) in the case of different verdicts from the players, will request a максимально detailed (possibly with screenshots) justification for the decision. Based on the arguments of the players and his own preliminary decision, a final verdict is issued;
3) In the case of the absence of a verdict from one of the players, the PRELIMINARY verdict of the judge begins to play the role of that player's verdict. The situation then develops according to the scenario described in paragraph 1) or 2);
4) in the case of the absence of a verdict from both players, the situation automatically transitions to option 1) with identical PRELIMINARY verdicts from the judge. Thus, the PRELIMINARY verdict of the judge for this match, with a probability of over 95%, becomes final.

2. Guarantees of objectivity and impartiality of the judge - this is my reputation. I will not play in this Tournament, as you can understand. I will judge the arenas fairly and, of course, I will try to find the strongest moves from both sides. In the event of protests, I will analyze each case in detail. I want to say that the issue of judging arenas is a very delicate matter. I can say that I have some experience in battles, as well as in modeling without a computer. I also have some experience in judging Competitions, and not only offline and not only in Heroes.

Oh! and you know what, you can do it like in chess by mail... that is, you sit down to play, each on your own computer, and communicate moves to each other (like pawn e2 e4). Griffons on the right-top attacked the swordsmen :) or a hero casts Ice Ring on trolls, and so on.

8. The first stage of the tournament starts on December 14th and will last until January 15th (inclusive).
