Letos Vaishan, and of course, the lightning-fast Railag!
If we compare who is the best among these three, it's definitely Railag! It's unlikely anyone else could boost the initiative of their troops so high above the enemy's troops; only Railag can do that!
The opponent won't even have time to blink, and their troops will be gone! Or they will have disappeared from the ATB scale!
If I had to choose from the regular heroes, I would play as Vaishan! Because he has a great starting position, and the new upgrade for assassins is simply 100% effective against any archers at the start! And invisibility is a slightly overpowered skill!

I prefer Letos because, in the early stages of the game, he can handle medium-sized units quite well (Letos's plague + assassin plague = double infection)!

I'll take Sorgalla because of his Lizard Breeder ability; lizards bite much better. As for campaigns, of course, it's Railag. Why? I don't know, I just got used to playing as him, and he's strong enough both in magic and in regular attacks.

I used to play as Synitar, but now I prefer him... at level 20, there isn't much of a difference between his enhanced and regular spells.

I like Synitar the most because he starts with magic and the ability to reduce spell costs. Leto, in principle, is also not bad, but in my opinion, dark magic is not the best choice for a Warlock.

I completely forgot about the heroine, Eruin (or Irbet, I think), with a special ability called "Dark Empowerment" (or something similar), which gives her a chance to deal additional damage to Dungeon creatures after using Chaos magic. She also has cool starting abilities, and her starting location is decent (she has Lightning Bolt). At a high level, Dungeon creatures almost always support the hero's magical attacks with their own shots. Overall, she's a great hero... except when it comes to the campaign.

Letos is awesome. A handsome guy with a good specialization.

Synitar is preferable to me compared to all other Heroes of Might and Magic heroes (with the exception of Shade and Realgar, but they are campaign heroes). With his unique ability, much less mana is spent on spells!

I have come to understand the power of Letos! He is truly a powerful hero with incredible stats! Especially when he is paired with Rangers.

Lethos and Tok, with proper and successful development, can defeat almost any army.

By the way, I wonder why they didn't include Ilya in the list of Heroes of Might and Magic?

Hmm... I think Leithos isn't the best hero, although I used to pick him before, but now I realize he's just average. His abilities and poisons work well against Stalkers, but you can achieve the same with a Sanitarian while the Stalkers are in invisibility; the Sanitarian casts spells, BUT he'll use more mana!
Also, his ability is quite questionable, as it rarely appears at the beginning, and by the end, it's already weak. The most important thing is that he gets dark magic at the beginning, which is a waste of a skill slot for a Warlock; there are much better skills.
However, it's worth noting that the hero isn't exactly bad; he's extremely questionable, and with the right tactics and in a specific situation, he can be quite decent. Even dark magic can be useful, but with a Sorceress and the Warlock's Chaos spell, it will be much better!

I disagree... his plague is much stronger than the magic arrow, especially considering that it lasts for several turns.

Sanitar doesn't have an immediate buff, but Plague undoubtedly consumes much less mana in the end. However, the ability might not trigger, and casting Plague requires a turn, and it doesn't take effect immediately. Moreover, dark magic isn't the best solution for a Warlock; everything is geared towards chaos, and combining dark and chaos is not the best choice. Firstly, it will take a lot of experience, and the benefits won't be significant. Secondly, in battle, you either need dark magic or chaos magic; I don't think it's worth taking both.
P.S.
Although I consider this hero weak, I still like him; I played with him before and still play with him now. He probably has the most interesting (but not the strongest) ability in the game, but still, he can't compete with Sanitar, the Blood Queen, or the Lady of the Wood.
