Posts from I suggest hosting an online tournament that is not limited to a specific clan.
The essence of the proposal: we divide into factions or into 2-3 sides – Light, Dark, Neutral – and sign up for these sides (factions). Anyone can sign up, regardless of their clan affiliation, and we play for our favorite faction/side.
Questions:
- Which game version?
- Factions or sides?
- When? (naturally, after the Tournaments of Friendship of Nations and against by) in general, we find a suitable time together.
- Who is the organizer? (I can't, I suggest those who have already done this, Adelaide, Lu41k, Alan, Kyle)
- And are you all in agreement?
I think everyone has wanted this for a long time:smile14. This will distract from inter-clan conflicts and unite people around other interests. In general, let's have an All-Star East vs. West:smile49: :smile13:

I think we will discuss everything by the end of January, and then I will be able to participate.
GO!GO!GO! It's about time!!! I'm for 3 SoD. Divide by races. Super. I think this will be very interesting... especially since it's something new)

Well, it's not exactly a new idea... :) I think I've seen similar suggestions somewhere.
There's a simple option: we divide into two sides, dark and light.
We gather a limited number of players (about 8 per side) and determine who is better in 1-on-1 duels.
And the most challenging option: we divide into factions (in Heroes of Might and Magic III, there would be 9 teams in total :)), gather players for each faction, and fight according to a bracket system. The losing team is eliminated, and this continues until the last team remains :) This would be intense and exciting.
I suggested organizing such a tournament with a New Year's theme)). In principle, it's possible to do it, but the question is whether people will participate? After all, there are many tournaments, and it's also a busy time)). New Year... However, it might be easier if it's held after New Year's...
Maybe a duel tournament for Heroes of Might and Magic V, divided into Darkness and Light, where both dark and light factions can play as Orcs.
P.S.: Definitely after the New Year.
If anything, it should be organized after the New Year... and quite a while after that. Otherwise, everyone will be busy with numerous tournaments. First. Students will have exams – second. And after the upcoming event, I still plan to organize an inter-clan online competition. That's third. But overall, it's a great idea! If it's for Heroes of Might and Magic III, I'll participate with pleasure!

:) of course, after the New Year. It says in the first post that I suggest starting at the end of January - beginning of February, and I started the poll and made the suggestion in advance because it always drags on with us :) and so that it doesn't interfere with other tournaments. So, vote and let's decide how the tournament will be held. The most controversial point, as I understand it, is whether it will be Heroes 3 or Heroes 5 (if there are many people, we can split into two and have tournaments for both versions). There are fewer maps in Heroes 5, so it will most likely be by factions (and the balance is better there, so we won't have to ban too many things), although I have almost no online experience :)
Added 2 minutes ago In short, I'm waiting for your suggestions, especially from experienced online players like TaKo :)
I agree with Nazgûl, Tribes of the East. Let's divide into dark and light factions (we could also divide by races, but I don't think there will be enough people to divide by races) and start the battle. I also agree that the session has begun. There is no time to play now. But overall, it's a good idea and it can be implemented in the future.

So, it's an interesting idea, Starhan, +1! I think it would be better in Heroes of Might and Magic V. I'd like to see them divided by factions, although I don't think it's that crucial... So, you could also divide them by races.
P.S. Will you be taking less experienced players? (meaning me:o) My skill level is probably somewhere in the middle... Or is this only for masters?)
the voting will reveal everything... and which faction and which division)
for now, it's clear that it's Heroes of Might and Magic V and the division is by races)) good) P.S. I agree about the open tournament) let everyone play... otherwise, there might be too few clan members)
we are still looking for a time... and deciding on the format... as soon as we decide, we will start recruiting.

it seems that it will be Heroes of Might and Magic V and divided by factions)) good)
the most interesting thing is that the Heroes of Might and Magic III players want it divided by factions, and the Heroes of Might and Magic V players want it divided by sides :))
