Well, it's not exactly a new idea... :) I think I've seen similar suggestions somewhere.

There's a simple option: we divide into two sides, dark and light.

We gather a limited number of players (about 8 per side) and determine who is better in 1-on-1 duels.

And the most challenging option: we divide into factions (in Heroes of Might and Magic III, there would be 9 teams in total :)), gather players for each faction, and fight according to a bracket system.
The losing team is eliminated, and this continues until the last team remains :) This would be intense and exciting.

We need to find a consensus in general.

The most controversial point, as I understand it, is whether it will be Heroes 3 or Heroes 5 (if there are many people, we can split into two and have tournaments for both versions). There are fewer maps in Heroes 5, so it will most likely be by factions (and the balance is better there, so we won't have to ban too many things), although I have almost no online experience :)

I agree with Nazgûl, Tribes of the East. Let's divide into dark and light factions (we could also divide by races, but I don't think there will be enough people to divide by races) and start the battle. I also agree that the session has begun. There is no time to play now. But overall, it's a good idea and it can be implemented in the future.
