Dear Kyle, I have a question regarding the following point:

4. After reaching the final action (which leads to victory), you must save the game again. The submitted save file should contain only one hero (the rest must be dismissed).

If the final action is skipping a turn, does this mean that I am required to dismiss all heroes according to the rules? Yes? Please clarify. Sincerely.

If the last action was skipping a turn, do the rules require me to disband all heroes? Yes? .

You need to disband all heroes except for one – the one used to calculate the secondary victory criterion (see point 3 of the General Rules).

An exception may be when the game ends during the opponent's turn, and you need several heroes to protect your cities from the opponent's attack (rare, but it happens). In this case, all necessary heroes remain. And the secondary criterion is calculated based on the hero specified by the player.

P.s. In general, the organizers of tournaments initially asked to disband heroes solely to simplify the verification of the final save. There are no other reasons to do this, so this rule should be treated reasonably – it is not a dogma, it just became a practice. And reasonable exceptions are quite acceptable.
