Probably because the poll is old. IMHO, the most beautiful Warlock, and the demon is pretty cool too.

It’s a pity that there are no Rune Priests, as they are my favorite. Both in terms of aesthetics and characteristics. I mainly play as Inga (female), and among the Rangers, I prefer Winrael (male).

All the heroes look great, I really like the models. Mages on elephants, dark elves on Tyrannosaurus Rexes (where did they dig them up?), and dwarves on mammoths even made me laugh :) Very beautiful models, although some of them are a bit rough in places. In general, though, the Ranger is my favorite color scheme, my favorite young hero, and my favorite wood elves :) As for the portraits... To be honest, this is the first criterion by which I choose a hero (heroine, I prefer to play as a female) in all the games. But I'll also write down my IMHO list of handsome guys :) Here is a list of my favorites: Wood Elves: Ilfina and Anwen; Fayden and Wingael. Dark Elves: Erin, Kifrah, and Ilaya; Railag and Sinithar. Mages: Nura and Ora; Maahir and Zehir. Dwarves: Ibba; Wulfstan and Ingvar. Humans: Ellaina, Frida, Isabel, Ornella, and Valeria; Duncan and Dugal. Orcs: Hagghesh, Kujin, and Urgat; Kurak and Gorshak. Demons: Jezebeth; Agrail and Nibros. Undead: Ravenna (her name actually translates to "Raven"), Ornella, and Deidre; Arantir and Giovanni. I wrote this using the English transcription, so there may be some errors in the names. The heroines that I find most attractive and play as are highlighted in italics (I'm an amateur, I don't pay much attention to abilities when playing against the computer, I take advantage of what comes with the face :) )

1. I don't like the Knights. A horse and a man in armor aren't anything special. It would be much more interesting if he were, for example, on a griffin:rolleyes:
2. I liked the Demons more or less. The developers decided not to bother with mounts, so there's nothing to criticize about the demon heroes.
3. I didn't like the Elves, mainly because of the ugly hat on their head. What is that thing? As far as I know, elves don't skin animals or rip off horns.
4. I also don't like the Dark Elves. The hero himself is normal, but why do the Dark Elves ride dinosaurs? Dinosaur + Dark Elf = ???????? Why a dinosaur specifically?
5. In my opinion, the Necromancers turned out to be the best, and not just because I like this faction, but because it's really true. A horse-skeleton and a skeleton rider on it.
6. The Mages are just awful. Where did the elephants come from in the sky??? Maybe they should have made the heroes on some kind of flying vehicle? But no, still elephants. Why do the mages, both men and women, look like women?? In my opinion, the ugliest heroes are the mages.

-=AnGrY El'F=-, this criticism is terrible. It's completely unfounded. Firstly, a Knight is a Knight, and that means being on horseback. It's impossible to talk about banality in relation to this race – it's a tradition. Secondly, why is their hat ugly? It's an element of their image. Considering they have such an original unit like the Avenger, it's quite appropriate. Thirdly, a dinosaur – because they have a unit that rides a dinosaur. And it's quite original, residents of the Dungeon riding a dinosaur (or, more specifically, a lizard). Fourthly, surprisingly, how are Necromancers on horseback more original than Knights on horseback? Fifthly, Mages on an elephant? What's wrong with that? Magic, rituals, India, elephants. It's quite convincing. And finally, I forgot about the Rune Priests.

I like the Rune Priest the most. Both his appearance and the animation of his spells are great. The other heroes are also well-made, it's just a pity that there are no female models.

as strange as it may seem, the demon is in the poll. Why? It's very simple. It looks amazing. Big, clad in metal, with a huge axe, breathing smoke;), all imposing and scary. And the animation is simply divine (oh, I'm a blasphemer:)) - how it casts spells, how it runs, and how it absorbs souls... it's a sight to behold. And of course, originality (yes, again), it's the only one that runs on its own two legs. And that's right. It whirls through the enemy ranks... sowing death and leaving only scorched earth behind... if I were a little fifteen-year-old girl, I would add - "Rrrrrr!".
Don't get me wrong, I'm a good person;)
and there's the colossus. It runs on the sand. It stomps with its feet. So kawaii:)

Well, I disagree, Locken :smile42: I am a little fifteen-year-old girl, don't believe me - check my profile :) But as you can see, I didn't say anything like that about demons :p Although I could have... The demons have a beautiful model. Sometimes I feel like playing something evil, and demons are perfect for that :) Classic ugly villains who would rather conquer the world than eat meat :) Although, demons are mostly my favorites in Dungeon after the Sylvan faction, which is unbeatable in my opinion :)

They all look pretty good! And the heroes from the campaign are exceptionally well-drawn!

I made a difficult choice between Demon and Necropolis. The latter won.
